Dyanis, you should get the custom toy, City COmmander armor. For classics Ultra Magnus a couple guys got together and made an actual trailer-armour for that figuer and its awesome!

Ultra Magnus DOES appear in our (the U.S.) Marvel Comics, but only appears in the adaptations of the 86 Movie and "The Big Broadcast of 2006". I always thought that it was better for Ultra Magnus to be Dion in the past other than Ironhide. If Dion became Ironhide, it would mean that Optimus Prime is just as old as Ironhide, and that really doesn't make sense. I mean Optimus and Ironhide are great friends, but Ultra Magnus is around the same age as Prime.

Im not sure about the cartoons as well, as I haven't watched a whole lot. He did have an Energon figure,though, which is a white and blue repaint of Overload. In the Japanese version of Armada (Micron Legend), Overload's name is Ultra Magnus.

If you do a google search for Freds workshop on his page he does variations in actuallity there are like 4 versions of Magnus the dull one what you have in the video is dubed the Kaybee version.

I read a few of the comments and james022222 said Optimus and Megatron are brothers,that is not true because in g1 episode WarDawn the arielbots go back in time and meet Orion Pax who later becomes Prime and Orion had no idea who Megatron was.Megatron attacked Orion and Orion gets rebuilt by Alpha trion into Optimus Prime

Just incase you didn't know silverbolt, Prime and Magnus were part of the 1980 Diaclone toyline that was broght over with the Microman toyline from Japan to America to create the Transformers.

In the Diaclone fiction, Powered Convoy (Ultra Magnus) is the powered up form of Battle Convoy (Prime) which would explian why the truck cab is simply a repaint of Prime

Ultra magnus is not hot headed or arrogant...that is a poor assumtion. Hes very cool minded and frequently is seen concentrating on one thing rather than a multitude. Hes shown weaknesses on the battle field as well, proving hes not that great of a warrior. Ex. last battle with six shot, and the movie..the sweeps easily destroye him.
