lol i got 10 spearmen left before i go into the castle. i use 5 to distract all the ppl in front , then i use 4 ppl to distract ppl in the tower and the last one to run to the top of the castle

This mission is REALLY easy. First go all the way to the top right cornor. use ur arches take down the walk dudes. And Then DONT take down all the men on the stone wall. After that get ladders men. ON the stone wall. Then again on the other side. so they climb down avoiding the missle fire. Then use ur archers to shoot the men infront of the castle if the pike men get to close just make them run away. then shoot them again. since archers are faster...

I hate that mission... I never was able to pass it... ether, when my archers get on the walls, they get kill by ennemy (because I'm left with not enought archers and spearmans)... or I just fail at the start, because the enemy got an advantage...

a better way is to take your men and clear the walls at the far right of the castle and then rush all of your laddermen up th the keep. if they get into combat just keep clicking on the keep. the laddermen get up there and you win

they should make a simple improved 3rd one, not legends. i looked at legends and althoough it looks fun it also looked unrealistic which is what i love about this game, the economy n that. and they had terrible archers, never got tired or ran our of arrows, and never missed a shot. cav archers were the worst.

When I did this, I was stuck on the left-most tower along the wall. I had 6 archers and 6 ladder-less ladder-men. I had to use them as bait to lure the remaining forces off the roof of the keep so my archers could pick them off. Not a happy time.

btw, just to beat this level a bit faster, once you get to the main stronghold, you don't have to kill all the guys, you can just have to get at least one troop to the top of the stronghold.
