What is money? A human construct. Money is worth absolutely nothing, especially since they removed gold backing of the dollar.
In addition, money is not yours. Paper the the outside of your house with one dollar bills and send the picture to the Treasury Department and let me know how all that works out for you.
ok, now you were saying that a married hetero couple were enjoying a bigger credit line because of joint incomes.
Wouldn't two gays utilizing a corporation be able to enjoy the same credit rating? I'm just asking because I don't know and keep in mind I am not against gay marriage.
First you said you didn't care about religion, now you say a dental plan or a health insurance plan is not a "devine" institution. Watch how you phrase that, that could be problematical.
I have to pay out of pocket for chiro and I have to pay about 400 a month to put my wife on my measly insurance plan with many deductibles. My wife works for an acupuncturists so I shun western medicine and use the acupuncture for free. Her boss, about as liberal as you can get, does not belive in insurance.
At 1:57 you ask the question, "Why should gays pay a penalty?"
If I get a DUI, my wife and I's insurance both double, if not triple. I my wife crosses the centerline while shes driving one of our cars home from work and kills a family or a gay person, I (or our estate) will feel the the wrath of the lawsuit.
When shit hits the fan, this is the penalty for being married.
At 3:20, you mention the "flat rate" concept. I like it and accept it, but I look for the caveat as I know that people with "needs" will want a break from the "flat rate" and that will put the government into the business of dictating needs and not needs.
Also, you mentioned "all men" earlier than this portion; simply, the US Constitution states that all men are created equal. Bam, you're done with your statement, with federal powers backing you.
I finished reviewing your complete video and I like what you have to say, especially about the part of "flat rate". Discounts based on marriage make no sense to me and I am heterosexually married since 1992, especially when you consider that the divorce rate is 50% or better and that domestic violence occurs whether you're a married couple or not.
You make great points on your video. Until gay marriage is available, I'd consider incorporation at the least.
Marriage is an antiquated system that gives special privilege to coupled individuals. I think that marriage in general should be done away with from a legal standpoint but if people want commitment ceremonies or whatever that is fine.
I'm not sure "marriage" should be done away with. Obviously, I think the man made privileges associated with marriage should be reevaluated. The only advantage to being an unmarried couple is the advantage of going thier separate ways without resorting to divorce lawyers
Marriage is a legal incorporation, not much differnt from a Limited Liablity Corporation (LLC) or other forms of incorporation.
If my business partner flys our airplane into the ground in negligence with two pro football players on board, guess who is going to feel the wrath? The same as if a man's wife runs a red light and kills those same pro ball players in the other car.
I love this video. I'm gay and I'm against gay marriage. But then again I'm against straight marriage too. Marriage is an antiquated practice that gives further privilege to couples. I often feel discriminated against for being single.
Would banks make or lose money if gay marriages were allowed? I just don't know, but I'd think that family size would have something to do with it.

Man made institutions? That's human constructs;
Banking
Taxes
Insurance
What do they all have in common? Money.

I will now patiently listen to the rest.

Earlier I said "devine" could be problematical, I vote conservative, but I'm not anti gay or religious, I just thought your comment possessed irony.
But anyway, so far I am listening intently to your presentation...and I understand.
