Yes, it's indeed Ernie Chaffin doin' "I'm Lonesome", flip side of "Laughin' And Jokin'" (SUN 275). Cut on Jan. 29, 1957, with Ernie Chaffin: vocal/guitar; Murphy 'Pee Wee' Maddux: acoustic guitar; Ernie Harvey: steel guitar; Leo Lodner: bass; and poss. also Stan Kesler, who used to play whatever was needed (mostly bass or steel guitar though) on most all of Ernie's recordings. He recorded at least 13 tracks for Sam Phillips but only eight were originally released on SUN.
