Okay the movie eternal summer ends with Jonathan saying that

he takes Shane as his closest friend. You can't really tell how

Jonathan thinks of Shane because that's how the director intended

for the views to be but there are 2 guesses to it.

because then he would lose the time he spent together with Shane as friends,

and since that was the most important thing he ever had in his life he don't

want to become Shane's lover.

On how they had ended up in the entertainment industry, Joseph said that he had met a director who was looking for new faces to act in his new movie on the MTR one day. Although Joseph didn't get to take part in that particular movie, the director subsequently invited him to star in advertisements. Joseph accepted the offers, since it meant additional pocket money for him. He then became exposed to the modelling and movie industry.

Byrant's manager thought the boy was quite good looking, and passed her namecard to him. At that time, Byrant was curious about the entertainment industry and thought it could be fun to see what it was like to be part of it. On the actual day of filming, both Bryant and Joseph put aside their nervousness, and poured in all their feelings and emotions to give it their best shot.

@whateverrr his main point was to tell us that if/when we fall for someone to make sure we like than person just as much, or maybe even more, than we love them. In Shane you can really tell this need he has for Jonathan, but whether or not that need can be satisfied with friendship or from much more is to be determined, which is the only thing that made me upset by this otherwise amazing movie.
