@joSawant The recipe is good, must commend you in that. BTW why do you have to anglicize your name to Jo? when it is Jyoti or Jyotsana or some Indian name?
about the patti part i have seen on net people use diffrent stuffs bonding like eggs and vercche souse whats the diffrence i want 2 make my burger nice greasy and juicy ...plzz let me know... HELP
@abhi8teen- Hi, yes egg is usually used as a binder for meat but will not necessarily make your burger Patti moist. I am not sure what you are asking me when you said vercche souse. Although souse is a technique in the food world where the food is immersed in a liquid, like you see for pickling of vegetables in vinegar. Its is also known as souse meat where mostly pig meat is pickled.
@joSawant So Unless you have seen some one use pickled meat for the patty, i dont see any other reason for the use of this term " Souse" . Now if you really don't care about the fat and want to make your burgers really juicy then just add 1 cup of mayonnaise to the above recipe. Then instead of baking them fry them in a grilled pan on your stove with about 2 tablespoon of oil for each batch. Cook on each side for 7 minutes until golden brown and drain them on paper towel.
Hi..really a very nice and easy recipe..thanks..but how should we cook the patties if we don't have an oven?? Can we fry them in a non stick pan? If yes for how long and at what flame?? Thanks
@abhatnagar - If you dont have an oven then yes just place a grill pan on medium high heat and cook them one each side for about 7 minutes to give a nice golden brown color. Then transfer them to a paper towel and let the oil drain. Try these in any bread that you desire. Let me know how they came out
I typed in chicken burgers and there you were. i am thrilled. i am on my way to the kitchen to prepare. will let you know how they turned out. thanks.
American favourite with indian touch..Nicely done!! Great low fat, high protein recipe. Will try it this weekend..but your patty looks too dry and I'd toast my bun..toasting bread makes it taste better and more importantly keeps it from getting too soggy in a burger.
@siddu8586- Thanksfor the comment-They look dry from top as they were baked with very little fat but they come out pretty moist from insides. And for the bun absolutely go ahead and toast your bun. I am sure that will be good.
@nishanthred - Thanks for the post. I am sure the mayonnaise one will taste really good. I try to make my dishes as healthy as possible and hence I try not to put ingredients which will add calories. But I will definitely try it out your way too.

I think it is better to put mayonnaise instead of tomato sauce
