Pride was awesome! Some fights were a bit circus like, but it added something different. Soccer kicks and knees to a downed opponent, brutal! Just like Vera the other night. It's terrible how the judges almost seem like they have no clue as to what they're watching. Shogun didn't DEFEAT the champ, but he won the fight. So, I can KIND OF understand their point of view. But, the judges have been stupid and score the fights terribly all the time in the UFC. Always a fighter who gets robbed per UFC PPV, it's unacceptable. Dana needs to get some real MMA practitioners who know what they're watching to be judges for these things.

You got different rulesets in various organizations, so each fight in those isn't equal as the rules adapted in UFC. If there is such thing as calling yourself the best organization with the best figthers in the world, one should go back to the early days of mma in UFC, where four point attacks are allowed, where it was bareknuckle combat, instead of gloves. Just like Vera the other night. It's terrible how the judges almost seem like they have no clue as to what they're watching. Shogun didn't DEFEAT the champ, but he won the fight. So, I can KIND OF understand their point of view. But, the judges have been stupid and score the fights terribly all the time in the UFC. Always a fighter who gets robbed per UFC PPV, it's unacceptable. Dana needs to get some real MMA practitioners who know what they're watching to be judges for these things.

thats your opinion, I believe Machida won the first 3, I'm interested in arguing this old debate. But to say it was a clear 50-45 Shogun is alittle bias in my opinion.

i was jk, i agree with u. First time i watched the fight i thought shogun won mainly because of rogans shity commentation on that fight and bcuz of the last 2 rounds being so fresh in my mind. I rewatched the fight ltwice and def saw machida won first 3 rounds and i hate how people saw that shogun "dominated"
Dna white is an asshole that hates machida. i love how evry1 gets a rematch on a split dec, but now machida doesnt get a 2nd shot at rampage

I agree! Japanese fans are the best! I hate it to see when UFC is in America or UK and the fighters got ROBBED from caps and towel. Also most of the fighters get BOOED. How can you appreciate mma when you need to boo a fighter? People who are doing so are like soccer hooligans = NO REAL FANS. Real fans love the sport and respect the fighters. Be happy those fighters give a good show. If you need to boo, why buy a ticket? To let people know the "real" American ? So pathetic!

Yes, unfortunately you are right.
Imho, there is no such thing as the ONLY ONE organization.
You got different rulesets in various organizations, so each fight in those isn't equal as the rules adapted in UFC. If there is such thing as calling yourself the best organization with the best figthers in the world, one should go back to the early days of mma in UFC, where four point attacks are allowed, where it was bareknuckle combat, instead of gloves. But it's all about promotion :/

Minotauro will beat Brock Lesnar. Minotauro wasn't 100% against Frank Mir, he was in the hospital for 10 days with a staph infection. A healthy Minotauro = damn near unstoppable....unless your name is Fedor.
