  • Hi, funnily enough I have a Raleigh Roma which is being restored by the guys at Celery Scooters and they recognised the Triumph when they came to pick up the Roma. It needed the carburettor cleaning and I flushed out the petrol tank, changed the plug etc. It runs fine but I have nt taken it out on the road as yet as I want to adjust the rear brake to the right foot as my left foot is too eager! Other than a respray, its an almost complete project.

  • yeah I got it to kind of work as I say but on a run out it would just die after a mile or two. Thought it might have been the ignition coil shorting out, i didn't change that, and as for the carb I must have cleaned it a dozen times... but yeah ultimaely the tank needed cleaning. And yeah it loved a new plug. Cool though let me know how you get on!

  • I owned this bike until March or so. I couldn't get it to run properly so sold it as a nearly working bike, I noticed that the guy I sold it to ,sold it on ebay after only a few weeks. Have you got it to run well? I'd be chuffed if someone manged to get it to work properly! It would cut out when it got warm when I had it... i tried everything.

  • there still seems to be a reasonable amount of parts available sourced from old stock. its a terrific little scooter

  • are the parts hard to get ? lambrettas are easy because the parts are remade ,, great scoot
