    Best part ever.

  • Gordon's Son: Batman? Batman! Why is he running, Dad? Lt. James Gordon: Because we have to chase him. Gordon's Son: He didn't do anything wrong. Lt. James Gordon: Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So, we'll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian. A watchful protector. A Dark Knight.

  • @pottyaboutpotter1 wrong movie bro

  • @tallflags7 Yeah, but it's the main theme of the series. That, and because it's an epic quote.

  • WHY ARE BOTH THE TOP COMMENTS IN CAPS?

  • @C23ofCNC THEY ARE ALSO ONLY ONE OR TWO WORDS!

  • @C23ofCNC and are both from 3 yrs ago

  • i have a show in my gymnastic lessons on this song :)

  • the drive to work with this playing has never been so epic

  • oh Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard, you blow me away.

  • I vote for Black mask and deadshot for the dark knight rises's villains.

  • This track would make walking down the sidewalk exciting! :D

  • I wonder how Hush would fare in a Batman movie made by Nolan.

I loved the comic Batman: Hush, that villian is pretty interesting. And his costume is sick, covered in bandages, wielding guns and quoting Aristotle. He is badass.

  • My favorite film track of all time! Not a week goes by that I don't listen to this at least once! Great movie too =D.

  • this song is epic

  • He is in a vehicle!

    Make and color?

    It's a black......tank!

  • This song makes men out of cowards and beasts out of men.

  • Epic

  • This was the best soundtrack out of both the movies!

  • If I had to pick a villain for a third film, it would have to be Bane.

Not the shitty rendition from that abysmal Batman & Robin, but the 'real' Bane.

The one who was genius-level intelligent, who also not only defeated Batman in combat but broke his back in the "Knightfall" arc.

  • No, Black Mask

  • Seriously, fuck whoever is giving Black Mask a thumbs down. He would be at least 5 different kinds of awesome in the next movie and would make for some pretty hardcore movie posters.

  • Thank you! I can't believe Black Mask got thumbs dwn, he's a fucking psycho. Stars a clt, has mommy and daddy issues, hate Bruce, obssessive and controlling, talks to a mannequin...he's nuts.

I guess we should go for 'Ahnold" Freeze again.

  • What I've noticed is that while fans want to gush over this new "realism" (which does make the movie compelling, I'll admit), they aren't very original.

Be it Bane or Riddler, after a little prodding, you can get a fan to admit that their idea for the next movie is pretty much exactly like The Dark Knight. Another cat-and-mouse action/thriller.

Black Mask (and maybe a few others) would create a conflict much different from The Dark Knight and give the movie its own unique atmosphere.

  • True, the realism is fun. But another cat-ad-mouse would destroy what TDK means, and Joker's the perfect one for that game.

The game is now set for one band of criminals to cause havoc without Batman (Black Mask and Bane perhaps), and a false hero (Peguin would fit perfectly, going wth the original idea of Black Mask-Penguin arms deal)

Besides, TDK shows us a Black Mask tattoo anyway, that opened the door.

  • Who has a Black Mask tattoo in The Dark Knight?

  • Ask's website listed this, as I forgot who exactly it was

It doesn't refer to him as Black Mask/Roman Sionis but take a look at Tommy Lister's (Deebo from Friday) tattoos on his neck. The design and pattern is that of The Black Mask. Lister played the large prisoner on the boat who threw the detonator out the window

  • Why are we talking about villains for the third movie on this video? Especially ones that aren't even that compelling like Bane.

  • the one thing i dont like about these types of soundtracks is that most of the songs seem the same, for instance there is this one song from star wars that is essentially a mash-up of three or for other songs

  • Yeah, they're using the same theme or motif throughout the movie you jackass. That's how you score a movie.

  • Very good song! Ranks right up there with Pirates of the Caribbean, Transformers, etc.

  • I think this outranks either of them.

  • second best theme song.... next to tim burton's batman.......

  • No superhero movie will ever come close to the Dark Knight. This movie was created nearly flawless in my opinion.

  • this is my favorite

  • Thank you god, for creating Hans Zimmer! or, thank you, to Hans ZImmers mom for giving birth to him!

  • haha xD

  • Don't forget James Newton Howard. He is as talented, after you hear his other works. Together, they're just great i think.

Btw, i would recommend King Kong OST for any James Newton Howard fans.

  • awsome song, but i dont get the title.

  • All the tracks in the soundtrack are named after a breed of bat.

BTW I had to input the comment limit exceeded thing on this video, and it was "molossus". Quite a coincidence.

  • All titles are names of bat genuses. ^^; Had to wikipedia them to find out.

  • one of the best soundtracks of batman begins. And its in V for Vendetta trailer.

  • This song is beyond amazing..it's just spectacular. So much emotion is evoked in this masterpiece...

  • cool

  • GREAT

  • THANK YOU
