  • So cute when he licked his eye!

  • loved when he licked his eyeball... had never seen something like that before, it's cute. i love geckos, but where i live, in brazil, they're different. some of them (the smaller types) live in the attic of our houses and go out at night hunting moskitos and cockroaches and are very afraid of humans. and the bigger types, live in stones, plants and stuff. i'd like to have one, but they're very difficult to catch.

  • AH! God, there's something in my EYE. *slurp* There we go.

  • i have a tiger cresty

  • He's adorable looks A lot like my crested gecko "diego". Aren't they awesome. Tons of personality. Cute reptiles

  • is that a dalmation?

  • @jag826 Yeah

  • @ItZD3P awesome i love them

  • Are these cheaper to keep than a bearded dragon or just about the same? Thanks :]

  • @Vickmee probably about the same to purchase, but cheaper to house. They need cooler temps, so at most you need an under the tank heat pad during cooler months and they don't really require any lighting because they are nocturnal. They are also smaller and require less space.

  • AWH i miss my geckos having tails!!! haha check out my vids guys!

  • Ahaha, the commentary is funny, "Mmm mmm, nothing like a moist eyeball! Mmm hmm..."

  • geico 15 minutes can save 15 precent or more

  • I bought a 3 month old crestie a few days ago at an expo. i think it will end up looking exactly like this one. however i am worried because it hasn't eaten any of the repashy CGD i place in its tank. i realize it isn't uncommon for them to not eat the first week they are in a new enclosure but it worries me a lot.

  • I'm in the same exact situation. I've been keeping watch on mine at night to see what he's up to.

  • what norph?

  • @alyssagirl123456 can you handle cresties as long as leopard geckos, and are they harder to take care of?

  • yes you can handle these guys they are very fun and active litle guys!!!!! and no these guys are easeir to take care of than leopard geckos:) but please do reaserch before getting one!!!!!!!

  • @alyssagirl123456 thanks for the info, you were really helpful! I was just wondering because i might get one of those wonderous creatures for my birthday (a few weeks). I noe know that a crestie would be a good choice, and yes, i will do a fair amount of research before adopting one. i just kow a lot about leopard geckos, but now i'll learn about crestie's! thanks again!

  • @Hedgehogs24 no problem:)

  • i know i was very wrong i know now stop leaving so much comment about one message god

  • crested geckos cant regenerate tails

  • @Bowserboyproductions no they can't...

  • They lick their eyes because they don't have eyelids.

  • oh wow he's gorgeous. the gecko

  • No. They can't.

  • They can't grow their tails back, look it up, it's a proven fact.

  • @MaxxHerps yes they can regenerate their tails maybe you should re look it up

  • @MsPinkDink guess what, he probably already did, where as you might of read it on winkapedia

  • It was obvious you knew nothing about crested geckos when you spelled them "chested geckos."

  • they actuly cant.

  • Crested Geckos are my fav

  • whats better crested geckos or leopard geckos

  • crested! but thats just my opinion

  • leopard dude

  • my sister and her boyfriend have just bought 2 of these are they rare?

they feel like rubber 2 they are well good they stick to almost anything :) i want 1

  • no they're quite common pets

  • They don't grow back their tails. Where did you get your information?

  • lol look it up ya silly monkey, most geckos if threatend and feel theres no way out will drop there tail, so a preditor has a tasty morsal then they can run away to safety, and most will grow them back but it want look as good as the orignal, but the crested gecko will not grow it back , somtimes a tiny nub grows but thats it

    its common crested gecko knowledge,

  • I know, that's what I said... I know geckos usually can grow back their tails, but the crested can't.

  • nice pet. i just don't like the colour morph of this one. but still cool pet

  • tartantulakid, youre crazy. beautiful dalmation.

  • i said that it is just not my preference. i never said that i don't like this pet as an individual. the colormourph dalmation is just not my thing

  • i have a fat one

  • luck you lol

  • yah but when it grows back it wont look the same

  • hell yeh, hes too cool!

  • oh i see wat your sayin now

  • yah dude is your brother a reptile guy who does partys??? trust me they love it i feed my gecko baby food all the time!!

  • you can feed your CRESTED Geckos baby food

  • Yes, you can, but in limited amounts.

  • Yeah, some Cresteds (like mine) don't even eat live food when given to them. Mine actually runs away from crickets.

  • That is a really nice crested gecko!!

He has awesome colouring, and is soo cute :)

  • hey thats my new gecko's name!

  • i had a tree frog named sticky!!!

    but sadly he died :(

  • Hello. Can crested geckos eat NO live food??

  • you can feed a crested gecko entirely a powder called crested gecko diet that you just add water to. you can feed crickets/roaches with crested gecko diet. I personally don't feed insects but its really your opnion

  • uuuu...what a cute dinosaur

  • that crested gecko is beast!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I think Sticky is a female... Still an awesome video though. I have a crestie and his name is Mushu. lol

  • mmm, nothing like a moist eyeball. lol!

  • how many crickets per day do you feed a crested gecko?

  • i feed mine 40 a week, and fruits/babyfood/yogurt like 2-3 times a week, check out the video, no sound but video camera broke.

  • Nothing like a moist eyeball! mmmmmmmm. Love the animal.

  • Looks just like my crested gecko!!!!

  • Oh my lord...the kid talking in the background is ADORABLE!! Such love for animals...keep it up, buddy!

  • sticky is a dalmation morph

  • Hey guys I LOVED that video. Stickey is awesome! My gecko's name is squirt I have a video about him. Watch it if you love geckos!!!

  • 'mm nothing like a moist eyeball'

    haha :D

  • look at those leg-menbrane i bet in the while they jump from three to three

  • This video makes me chuckle, the commentary is awsome ^^

  • Way, Leopard geckos and Crested Geckos are both awesome.

By the way m8, Sticky's cool lookin'

  • hahhaha sweet lizard !!!! looks great!

  • yo then y r u watching this video??? crested geckos are wayy better btw

  • Screw you moron! Don't watch the video if you don't like Cresteds. Oh yeah, Cresteds are 100000000000000000 times cuter and better than leopard geckos!

  • Yeah, I've seen your videos. And you're one to talk about ugly, and disgusting.

  • @scraps992 yep

  • Hey! Your gecko is afraid all the time! I want you to notice it! The geckos home is the terrarium and he isn't a toy or fotomodel!!

  • chill out so it was a little nervous outside the terrarium, thats how they get use to being handled. no they arent toys but they are pets and there is no reason they cant leave the cage and interact with you.

  • are crested geckos any harder to keep than leopard geckos?

  • A little

  • Not really.

  • you dont have to get em off a breeder. Its a little reassuring to know where they came from, but you can probably find them at a local petstore. And he probably wouldnt get too stressed from the ride back, just bring a small cage with a couple plants and squirt bottle, maybe bring a 10 gallon with u that is set up some, and put him in for the ride home. well good luck!

  • yea i know cresties can travel i keep hime with me at school and when i go home i have to bring her with me i dont think they particularly like it but ive never experienced a change in her mood, eating habits or anything at all. but it is probably best to keep it to a minimum.

  • well that is an old comment, but ill reply anyway. First off, if you are experienced with geckos, i reccomend the day gecko, just because they are so much cooler.

If you arent and are just looking for an easy pet, go with the crested.

They are both awesome animals and no matter which you choose, you will be thrilled with your new gecko!

if you have since decided on one, or a new one entirely, tell me when u reply to this comment. Good luck!

  • so adorable! i love how i can hear the family excited to have him! so sweet <3 i hope he is always a part of your loving family! you all sound so nice & that crested is such a cutie pie :)

  • Very beautiful gecko by the way! :)

  • You shouldnt handle them much when they are young, however when they are adults a gentle touch is fine...

  • This is a pretty old comment but what the hell. Actually you should pick them up when they're young. Of course keeping him in the cage at all times, but you have to give them attention when they're younger so they can get used to human contact.

  • What morph is he. Definatly some dalmation in there but what else would he be classified as. Nice looking crestie.

  • Dalmation with a buckskin base. Looks very healthy and has a great crest. Nice addition to the family! I would get a yellow dalmation of the opposite sex for a cage mate.

  • if you get a day gecko, you cant handle them too much, their skin is uber delicate and can tear at even the softest touch

  • My leopard gecko licks his eye alot, too. He mostly does it when he sheds.
