ime 27 and oh my god i remember this game sooo well i played it with my dad on an old zx spectrum it looked so rubbish lol i thaught it was sooo amzing at the time tho do

u know that if you type in i can fly on this amiga versiopn and the st version u can simply fly over the water and finish the game lol

now you can fly in the game

@feckingbillgates It's just so cheerful and cartoony, with the bright colors, clean lines, rounded rocks and treetops, and wide-eyed fish and bees. The shopkeeper has a cool new outfit, and the coins are dollars! The sound is also cute, with music sticking closer to the original and allowing most sound effects to play at the same time. I don't think this game benefits from huge clumps of grass and flowers, but I do appreciate that the Amiga games made the Smug Crab look more smug.

@BagOfMagicFood Fair enough. I guess the wide-eyed fish and bees are nice touches, but I don't really appreciate the other NES details. Maybe for me it's a matter of choosing one 8 bit version (Spectrum) and one 16 bit version (Amiga) and I always found the others jarring.

And can´t you use the Gravedigger Spade for the Grave on 2:58?

Is the pogo stick, you can use it on the ship under the water to get to some clouds that have coins.

And you can use it, but if I remember correctly you needed the bible to get out of the hole you make with the cursed treasure :D

@ZickZackMann The spade is for a different grave; if you try to use it on Hookjaw's, it just pops up a message that he safeguarded against that somehow.

You can emulate it for your computer, that's what I did. I mean it doesn't add up to the nostalgic wonders of the console itself (I had a A600 myself) but it packs a punch, and still fantastic in it's own right.

You have to download WinUAE, the kickstart files, and then the game ROMs to play them first. Google Lemon Amiga, they'll help you with instructions to download. They won't supply the ROMs or WinUAE themselves but they'll direct you to helpful links.
