  • Country jazz ..up to par with Chicago! ..putting horns and strings to country music ..genius! ..enjoy Doug and his magic voice!

  • Brings back incredible memories

  • Actually stalled at #42 on the Hot 100 ;)

  • incredible brass! incredible song! tangnang iyan! :)

  • one of the best groups ever.....

  • Best concert ever.......Marshall Tucker Band, the Allman Brothers, and Brittany Spears

  • Thanks for posting this great song I havn't heard it since the 70s

  • Southern Jazz

  • My first show was the Marshall Tucker Band and the Outlaws at Nassau Coliseum. I sat outside Korvettes early morning in order to purchase floor seats. In school everyone was wondering who was going to out perform who. They both won in my book. A couple days later Tommy Caldwell died in a car crash. R.I.P. Caldwell boys. To this day I love their music. I used to refer to their music as "TuckerVibes." Thanks guys for your music. Yes, so under rated I aggree to that of the Allman Brothers.

  • Not sure whos more under rated MTB or the Outlaws? prob MTB they are as good as anyone in a body of work. certainly on par with skynerd and allman bros I think their better R.I.P. Caldwell boys

  • Emaj7, Amaj7, and throw in F#m7 at the right time and you've got it!

  • this allbum was SOO UNDERRATED....I LOVE IT

  • man i loved this song from the first time i herd it yrs ago and to this day i still love it, just something about it.

  • as I said again, theres nothing southern about this song, I'TS ALLL WESTERN AND COWBOYYYYY!

  • always loved this song, good rythem and something one can relate to! Good ol'

    old school!

  • always enjoyed this expierence and the4e diversity Marshall Trucker band showed

  • The Marshall Tucker Band in concert on valentines day weekend saturday feb 12, 2011 at the watseka theatre watseka il.

  • Southern Rock meets Burt Bacharach. Wore this 8-track out back in the day

  • @BadSneakers Man you are right on with you're Bacharach call....My Friend taped Tommy's last show at Nassau Coliseum from WLIR in NY...We wore that out for about 5 years..But his great Bass line in this tune always grabbed me..Great Stuff!

  • MTB ..this is among my top 5 faves.

  • Damn good song. Haven't heard this one in years.

  • LOVE IT!!

  • Ok, I was wrong, maybe they were into jazz a little

  • @Winterstick549 THIS ALBUM IS MELODY ANN IS ON

  • I havnt heard this since my brother played the album way back when it first came out....Yipee i yaaa!!!!!!

  • Tucker was never the same after Tommy Caldwell died in the care accident. It just drained the energy this band had going for it. Toy was not the same and it was such a shame. I loved this group and adored them for years....long live Tommy, Toy and Timmy, the other brother who died. Tragic family. But great music lives on...

  • Another great song bythis great group. Nice, jazzy and the lyrics are smooth too.

  • Nice Horns! Country and Jazzy at the same time!

  • Great song very jazz oriented with the horn sound of Chicago to bad it stalled at #41 in Aug '79. Thanks for this song!

  • @JackZybach That's incredible - that this song didn't even crack the Top 40. This is my favorite MTB song, yet none of my friends have ever even heard it before.

  • i am lovin this tucker sound sooooooooooooo much....im a jazz n funk man..but their melodys stamp all over a lotta stuff i love......BEAUTIFUL...how come they not more heard and played??

  • People don't like good music, thats why it's not more played and heard. All the way up to when Tommy Caldwell died, this band was the SHIT!

  • Doug had the most amazing smooth voice, he could also hit any high note and had beuatiful vibratto. One of a kind singer. I want to sing like him for just one day in my life, or maybe everyday.

  • maybe he did?but ive seen tucker few times last maybe 10 yrs and poor dougs voice sounds like shit now?

  • PLEASE!!! If you can"t tell that's Doug you don't know TUCKER

  • i think George Mccorkall wrote this, can anyone tell me who sung it? was it after Toy left the band??

  • Doug sang this and Toy would be in the band for four more years after this !
