maybe you can remove the locusts jumping legs they come off easy or feed spotted roachs they are good food for t's but don't feed mice because of too much calsium will kill your t.

@johnbc62 no need in removing the legs. locusts are so slow. like you can see in this they will walk straight at any of the animals i own. its crickets that are the pain. and theres nothing wrong with feeding tarantulas mice every now and again. they eat mice, birds, snakes, lizards anything. so there is nothing wrong with feeding them mice at all.

i love watching them hunt, my g. rosea dosent piss about and justs jumps on the cricket when i got my aphonopelma last month i saw it hunt for the first time, i wish i could feed it all the time and just watch... it usually down his hide and comes up when i drop lunch in then stalks it round the cage, can take a while till he makes the kill but its funny. havent been able to get any pics or vids yet cuz hes very timid but in working on it.

lol yeah i know wot u mean lol. evey now and again they do actually keep follwing there food. stalking it i suppose you cud say.... but it is rather amusing wathcing them hunt like this. although.. because there just like you said... "cant be bothered etc" lol it just makes ya feel like... well if u dont want it.. i wont bother either lol
