The creator said that it wasn't deterministic, but it SO WAS. Scudder did not want to be evil, he just wanted to be left alone. Justin didn't want to be evil, in fact he wanted to be good. Management was a fanatic who was going to be aggressive no matter what. And Ben just wanted to be left alone too. God basically fucks over all these individuals and the rest of mankind too in this series. It's like "give em powers and see what they do," saturday night dog fight.
Too bad the part where the serial killer, Varlyn Stroud, discovers Smiths corpse is left away. It's great to see how he admires Scudders killing skills instead of being shocked.
I think Management is the coolest of the four avatars. Brother Justin is pretty sick with his ability, but nothing like his dad must have been with his powers! Scudder too is ill, though!
What the hell was Smith thinking by setting up the creature of darkness? I also love the scene after this when Scudder commands a guard to open the gate and where he meets his fate.
Poor old Henry Scudder, never have such a great life dis he. this scene is great and so unexpected. Scudder just seemed like a sad old drunk before this scene, but man does he get pissed off!!!! Kick Ass Henry!!!
My favourite all time scene of any Movie or TV Program..........
Yeah, seriously. Too bad also that we also didn't get to see the full potential of Managment. It was very unfortunate that by the time we got to see the power level of the two, they died. :(
