In parkour, stunts, and yeah even martial arts videos those people arent in a kill or be killed situation. They dont have someone delivering powerful blows to their vitals, and they didnt drop 30 feet before all of it. All of those things are relatively safe and sometimes scripted.

Actually it can, as people have probably pestered you with before, UFC and MMAers take this and worse on a daily basis. And as for falling, people have been known to survive drops from higher distances than that. Not likely, but happens sometimes.
@Magicforever1000 Well i would point out that this appears to be the censored version, as all the spittle you see was originally blood, which indicates severe internal bleeding. Second, people may survive falls like that but they hardly tuck and roll and then get up and do marathon fighting. More like they roll around on the ground in agony until an ambulance arrives.

As for falls like that, actually tucking and rolling throws the momentum through your body,spreading it out evenly to release some shock, that would break the legs if left in the legs. He would be on the ground in agony, but you're correct he wouldn't get up and go fighting. Probably get a few yards before jelly legs take in.

@Nonsensei436 Though anime generally is on the unrealistic side, you'd be surprised at what actual fit people can do (seeing those parkour vids, martial arts practices, and stunt performances). You'd think we were all squishy (which we kinda are actually), but then you'd be like "wow, I didn't know a person could do that." I guess you should think of them as a master of all the arts :P

On the other hand, kaitens or martial arts rolls are performed after high or speedy falls to compensate impact with vectorial inertia, Vincent does one after being thrown by Spike who also executes one in the form of backward throw to compensate Vince's frontal force.
