If you take a population of creatures and you drop some of them in a continent and some others in a small island, there will be some noticeable variations among the 2 groups after many generations. Mighty rulers owned everything, including the people....serfdom was abolished in some parts at the beginning of the 19th century. So, there was money (local factories, exploitation of colonies), but the money was invested mostly in warfare. What changed everything? Humanism and enlightement.

Without education, parents have little to offer to their kids and they cannot develop their skills. Whatever past history Haiti had, the best option today is cooperation.

For Blacks we have:
Proven lower average racial IQ. Even when the tests are altered to suit blacks, whites still outperform them.
Blacks are massively over represented in:
1) Violent crime statistics. Yet there are more poor whites in raw numbers in America than Blacks.
2) Sexual disease statistics, due what can only be blamed on a lack of self control.
Blacks out perform whites by a huge margin, despite an enormous differences in white participation and spending in many sporting events.

The way the USA is set up is so some people make it and some don't.. So it's not impossible for poor people to make it because there is no fundamental difference from ethnic group ethnic group. These are exceptions and the exceptions are high lighted to make it seem to middle class "Hey this guy did it why can't you do it?" To make it seems as if it's the individual. "They just need to try harder" or something of that nature. Probably in your case they just need to stop being black.

Another point I thought of that demolishes your economic terrorism remark about South America and Africa is Japan and China. Both were medieval countries when the Europeans arrived and were exploited under Imperialist rule. Both suffered around WW2 including massacres and destruction of infrastructure.
Yet both are 1st world (China rapidly heading that way). China started from 3rd world Communinst conditions 20 only years ago.
Also both have higher average racial IQs than white countries.

Its hard to see whats going on but, Japan is a very telling example because Japan was able to resist any attempts to be colonized by China or the US As predicted they now have a society more like ours.
