He didn't mention the software. It works if you are on 3.1.1 not later updates.

How do you manage to login to steam? The connection always fails for me for logging in. However my internet works for MSN etc. I am in the UK on o2.

yeah same i play mw2 on laptop what i do is goto my mates use his internet to conect to steam then when im leaving i leave my laptop in sleep mode so when i get home steam is still running but not online (not offline mode) then i connect my iphone and it reconnects to steam and i can play online (btw i get 3g and download speeds upto 350kb/s and mw2 runs without lag) but sometimes steam fails and crashes (nothing to do with iphone) and you cant connect to steam once it has closed
