I always thought the Yuke and Selkie skills would be awesome if you had 4 yukes or selkies using their focus attacks sequentially, simeltaneously, or each his own. Each with an invinicibility ring for maximum effect. 4 Yukes with Magic Bomb at level 3 = Nuclear Disintegration Bomb; 4 Selkies with Meteor Blast = Armageddon Meteor Storm or something. Pure epic destruction. How sick would that be? Too bad it would be meaningless, because by that point the game is too easy and nothing left to do.

@ucc3rd I'd suggest getting an invincibility ring, and casting Haste. Although, I will agree, Yukes are quite inferior. Spells are very boring to cast, and their attacks aren't very efficient or fun to use either.

the yuke focus attack has two higher stages. if you wait long enough, a noise will sound and you'll get some magic stuff around your character. wait even longer, and a second noise will sound and you get more magic. the resulting blast is huge.

This is sick, I alreado got the Red Eye and Dragon fang on my first try (not first time on those levels, but first time I WANTED to get those specific items)

But oh fuck, it's been like 10 tries already and still no celestial weapon scroll, yes,I'm on cycle 3, and get around 182 points every time!!! FML!

Just playing around I went to Selepation cave on C3, fought the boss and had the option of getting the wind crystal on the FIRST try. Knowing me I didn't know what it was, so I rejected it and got the Strength +1 Artifact (Can't remember which one), And now that I know what I need it for.....I can NOT get the Crystal back ;-;

Much less the scroll ;-;

Dang... Ive been waiting a long time to see the Selkie's dream catcher... And what epicness!! Just cant seem to get it myself. I have all the materials though... Sucks. Also working on Ragnorak. The two beastiest weapons in the game in my opinion. =) Thanks for uploading the video!!

I have a sharkeyes selkie, too. :) I love the dreamcatcher, but oh man was that thing hard to get. Still, how badass is the focus attack? I'd never actually seen the Clavat move before - it's a lot cooler than I would have thought, and a lot stronger than I expected. Hm, makes me jealous. :/ UGH watching this just makes me think of all the time I wasted trying to get that damn desert crystal. Lynari is the worst place in the world. DX

If you hold the charge down until a single lightning bolt sparks off his helmet and continue waiting until a second, larger lightning bolt sparks off his helmet, his Magic Bomb explosion increases in size.

Hoenstly, I had no issues getting the Dreamcatcher. I got Wind Crystal and Lunar Weapon on my first try each. Desert Fang on my second try.

It's really about knowing how to work the point system.

@johnapplesee The special weapons are the best to use (my preferance) The ultima weapons are meh. Okay weapons, but unless you're playing multiplayer, it takes way longer and much more work to get them because you have to max out so many famalies to get what you need. And cost 100,000 gil a pop (Forge and Dark Matter are 50,000 each).

@biggx15 I got pretty lucky and got both the wind crystal and desert fang in the same day on the first try that day. I was so happy, now all I need is the lunar weapon design from Conal Curach, which is probably most unlucky dungeon.

Jesus, I just did a perfect run in Veo Sluice and qualified for the best set of artifacts, but I got the worst set that doesn't require any points. This game is so unforgiving that it makes me wanna cheat sometimes.

You know w/ the yuke's mystic hammer if you continue to charge the focus attack it will get stronger. U will see a spark at the top of the yukes helmet, and then a second one. The blast gets bigger and it does double and then triple damage. Which makes it the most powerful in the game.
