predaliens are only availible in multiplayer, either by selecting to play as a predalien or if youve turned alien lifecycle on facehugging a player playing as a predator. However you are correct that in the story of primal hunt you play as a pred alien.

I've noticed that you get loads more health when you kill enemies by biting off their heads rather than clawing and biting them after you kill them.

i think you get more health from actually chomping the bodies as opposed to slashing them
