Commercial surgery how sad.The hernia was an indirect hernia but it was a congenital type of hernia.It is a good practise to open the hernia sac instead of reduction en masse as was done in this video, that procedure is the Lichenstein procedure there is a low recurrence rate on the other hand simple suture closure of the internal ring ,in this case, would be equally as good and without the use of mesh.I routinely perform these types of small virginal hernias under local without a mesh.

At ninoco11. I had my umbilical hernia fixed 2 weeks ago, mine I'd healing very well. I think the hardness you are feeling is the scare tissue healing and the muscles inside ur abdomen healing. Mine is also a little hard and sore, but my doctor said it could take a good month or so for the scar to heal. I am very happy with my results and glad to finally have an inny again. Good Luck
