@jim52648 They sing together a french song written by Michel Legrand for the movie "les Parapluies de Cherboug.. (Umbrellas of Cherbourg- dont know the title in English)...
THE #1 Record Johnny had was with Denice Willams. Too little to late,
Him finally attaching himself to Rand B. made him a #1. since his hair is wavy he romanced all people. however he was born Black, to black parents, who had American imposed poverty on them. like all other Blacks.
Wonderful Johnny and wonderful Andy. Since they were both best selling singers at Columbia(now Sony) they should have done an album together. That would be a tresure to us fans.
It is "Bluesette", written by Toots Thielemans. It's a jazz standard. In this clip, Andy & Johnny did it with some newly-written lyrics. I don't think the original song had any lyrics.
I remember watching this on Andy Williams because I was struck my the gymnastics stuff. But today I can really enjoy the song they sang. Johnny, in particular, was so outgoing and unfettered! This definitely is a big time gem to me, too.

Why Columbia never had Johnny and TONY BENNETT record a few songs together I will never know! Ditto with TONY and ANDY.

Class and talent. I want those days back. Today's no-talent sleaze is a waste of space.

I love Johnny Mathis impressions. He's hard to do! Pete Peterkin does the best Mathis I've ever seen.
Let me know when you post it.
