Not a fan at all. Don't like all the proggy guitar wankery, the rock-song productions and cheesy riffs, Chuck's increasingly annoying vocals (CHRYS-TAYL MOWN-TAYN-A!). One of the most overrated death metal bands to me, however I quite like the first three albums and I dig this demo a lot.

No single band invented death metal fucknuts, it was a joint effort from a lot of artists. This song is not very different from Venom or Hellhammer, down-tuned thrash with harsher vocals. I don't consider real death metal to have emerged until 86, at the very earliest.
