I have one of these that I used in the Army (and still use) because I'm such a heavy sleeper. I slept through it for several minutes before it woke me up and the guys would always threaten that they were going to take it and smash it.
my father drives truck, back when i was a kid and never got up for school he got me one of these. heart attack. plus they have a combo of buttons to shut em off. great investment

LOL I knew he was pissed!!! I've seen truckers beat up other truckers who owned this kind of alarm. Talk about an extremely rude awakening!
