A former OLTL fan on the daytime confidential website stated something similar that ABC and OLTL are struggling with their ratings because they are full of themselves and refuse to listen to their fans. If OLTL gets canceled in the next couple of years I won't shed a tear. The only way they can make me care is if they give me my beloved Tangeline.

OK, we say that Eva had a stronger connection w/John because we were able to see them in more intimate scenes together. I'm a JOVAN fan, but Todd doesn't really have access to Eva the way John did. If she allowed Todd to make his move, I think we would see a very strong connection between her and Todd. Todd would be so passionate with her if he was allowed to act on his feelings. John was into her that's for sure, but if Todd was given the GO, we would see real fire btween them both. I think.

All I'm saying is this as I've said on the board (soapgal18) forever ago: REG had the base to back up her talent. She was the glue that held all of her fanbases together & dare I say the ony OLer to have multiple shipping campaigns simutaneously. Many of us saw her chemistry with all of her leading men as well as the sizzles with just abt everyone from Bo (truth) to Hugh to Kevin. She was helping to save this show. Surely that would be worth her contract upgrade.

A former OLTL fan on the daytime confidential website stated something similar that ABC and OLTL are struggling with their ratings because they are full of themselves and refuse to listen to their fans. If OLTL gets canceled in the next couple of years I won't shed a tear. The only way they can make me care is if they give me my beloved Tangeline.

That's what happens when the opposite sex spend too much time together and go thru drama together. but Evangeline was scared because Todd is a liar and he was in love with Blair for the longest and she didn't want him 2 hurt her, that's why she fought her feelings. Todd was scared, because Evangeline is a good person and he is not, and she was with Chris. He didn't know if she would want him and he didn't want 2 b rejected and then ruin the friendship. Great acting.

Watching TATE now in this scene makes me want beat the crap out of him. Other than that you know this is Tangie at their finest. I don't even know why any other woman is on this show. I agree about the women, too, sometimes. Notice how John just isn't the same John he was when he was with Evangeline? (Did he even shed a tear when he and Natalie broke up?) She ruined him for other women; the lack of chemistry is so apparent. It'll be the same for Cris... and Todd.

hopefully TPTB will give RED a new better contract for nov-sweeps when todd and blair break up again for some reason he starts to find out ways to bring vang out of her coma and she wakes up and vang feelings for todd become stronger while her feelings for christian fade

I agree. The scene ended so sweetly in that embrace. Their need to wait or delay sex spoke to the depth of feeling as well as their fear of losing each other. Oh well. I think if they try to replace Renee, the chemistry will disappear and the story will wilt. I really hope renee comes back.

I thought their decision not to go there so soon, though, made sense and spoke volumes to the depth of the relationship. I just knew that the next time we fans would get something good.

I really hate that TPTB got us so invested in this couple, then pulled the rug out from under us. I'll probably stick around until they find Todd - and Miles and Tate get what's coming to them - but I don't think I sit through another Todd and Blair rehash.

I agree with you. November sweeps is my next cut-off and then I'll re-evaluate my commitment. I've stopped watching the show though--don't treat me like crap and REG and expect me to still support your crappy show. NO! This show SUCKS and if it gets any better it is because Todd is AWAKE now. Hopefully someone is utubing some of his stuff, because I refuse to watch.

You know, when this first aired, I was disappointed that Todd and Vange weren't the couple to "hook up". I was ready to see how the beauty of their union, the coming together of two people with deep and genuine feelings for each other, would play out. No doubt it would've *totally* embarrassed that revenge-inspired slutfest we got from Cris and Blair.

Hey you guys, don't hate me for letting the cat out of the bag but I just read in one of the soap mags that REG just finished a movie with STEVEN SEGAL and that she's excited about what's next. She also said the reason she left had nothing to do w/money, it was scheduling. She probably wanted to do movies and stuff along with the soap and it conflicted with her schedule. Like, why didn't they just compromise with her!

Strange career move making a movie with Steven Segal. It must be straight-to-video. If it was scheduling that forced her to leave, then there's a chance that she'll come back and they'll let her come back once her schedule permits. OLTL isn't that lame to let Todd and Evangeline's relationship build up for years only to let it fizzle!! I hope they convince her to come back.
