haha you have an eye for deprived midlands towns. the light trails were shot by road next to asda and all of the other clips were taken in various locations around stafford. look out for the sign that says 'lichfield - delays'.
i took a light meter reading to work out the interval for the light trails, i think it was around 30 secs. i was amazed when i got the film back and it came out.
hey there, i had a screw on 85B warming filter which i used for some of it... i later realised my camera had one built in so i didn't always use it.
in terms of general use i shot it in auto exposure a lot and sometimes manually locked it if i thought something would throw it off, e.g. if the the sun was going to come into frame.
what is the name of the band/song? fantastic quality to the footage, song really adds to it

I like the night traffic timelapse. Do you remember what interval you used to get the light trails?
Also, would I be right in saying some of those are shots taken in Stafford?

did you shoot at 18fps or 24fps on the tri-x footage
jollywhapp 3 years ago
18 mainly. you get extra shooting time and that old school look.

That Tri-X footage looks simply fantastic, thanks for sharing. Makes me rethink doing an upcoming shoot in Tri-X.

one of my dreams is to own a super 8 video camera
but how did u upload it on to digital?>
bumdealkurx88 4 years ago
hey they're pretty cheap to buy off ebay. it's really the film and processing that gets expensive.
to get a digital copy you need to get the film scanned (telecine) or project it on a screen/wall and film with a camcorder.
