@piceyeguy whiner?this isn't his rookie or sophmore year anymore..Those two years he was a cry baby..Now not so much.He's the captain,all captains spend alot of time conversing with the officials.That doesnt mean he's whinning. I'm pretty sure I've seen alot of players yell and swear at the ref and it not get called..This was a def high stick,so maybe bc the ref missed it he let Crosby's bitching go.The biggest whiner in NHL history goes to Gretzky.PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!

No one respects him because he acts like a petulant brat everytime he's on the ice, he dives, he complains when he gets touched, and on top of all that, he can't take a hit from another fully grown man. How else can one be so good?His Talent is inherent but mastering it like he does takes YEARS of dedication and anyone who knows him will tell you his work ethic is elite, if not unmatached. Grit? @Derek073182 There's a difference between a "fuckin headache" and back to back concussions. The latter can kill you, and has ended the careers of numerous athletes. To say taking a year off means he has no heart is ridiculous. He's just being smart about it, and he obviously puts his heart in the game.
