I want to make fanvids but how do you rip the dvd into a type of file you can use for windows movie maker? Or sony vegas 7?

I personally use DVDShrink. It's a free program... I think it's downloadable too.

I'm sorry, I can't help you there, since I never used WMM, I have no idea how to convert files that could be used on it. My recommendation is to find a new editing program. The one I used for this video (InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2) is cheap and usable with the files converted straight from DVDShrink... but otherwise I have no idea. Sorry!

I don't really think Jareth was the real villian. I think the villian or conflict was an internal one with sara. I think Jareth was just someone there to help her realise it. Oh, I do have to put this in too Jareth did love her in my opion and Jareth the consept is so sexy, but those pants are so bad. Thank you for such a great vid. Thank you!

THey actually edit this movie on the Disney Channel because of his pants. And I do not agree at all with that! There are worse things on tv, and for them to edit this beautiful movie because of his pants is disrespectful and taking away from children watching it for the first time.

hey i just watched the movie and im s o confused. he did it for her??? why? he didnt even kno her and he tried 2 kill her with all the crazy tasks. and why was her dream 2 be with him?? so confusinggg. oh and i dont get the ending. why did he get defeated just by her saying a few words :S was he the owl?? good video. songs rlly good~!~

He did it for her because... well, it can be taken many ways, but personally, I think he was in love with her because he watched her (yes, he was the owl). Her dream wasn't really to be with him, but she was sort of obsessed with the story of the Labyrinth and Jareth tried to conform to it for her. That's why all the tasks and why he allowed her to defeat him by just saying "You have no power over me." It mostly depends on interpretation. Thanks!

no i think u hve no power over me means exactly he has no power over her cos he cant stop her from taking the kid unless he kills her which he cant do and also all the tasks may hve been a test to see if she was worthy to be his consort which were dangerous but i think he would have pulled her out if she was any real peril

Yeah, he likes her a bit, but he's mostly the villain of the story. It's sort of complicated, the whole Toby thing. You'd have to watch it to get it, I think, but it's a good film. :D

One question I had was where you got the footage of Jennifer Connely in the suit jacket with the bike. She still looks really young so I'm assuming it's from another movie around the same time. Just curious.
