I loved your review... But I feel like there were way too many spoilers. Like you gave away how to make your sword stronger. It takes away some of the surprise. Also you shouldn't talk about the plot (besides main things like dark world and things unavoidable like that) past the 3 pendants. It's ok to talk about the stuff if you want, but just say in the beginning therell be spoilers so people can be warned. Other then that though great review.

@raggledy Yep. It applies for both cases. To me, these 3 titles are all equally flawless: A Link To The Past, Ocarina of Time and Oracle Of Seasons/Oracle Of Ages. Btw, if you haven't got a chance to play those 2 games, then you have no idea what you're missing =P Simply flawless titles. Period. I loved every single second.

Castlevania- The best CV game is CV: SotN for the PS1.

Bomberman- The best BM game is BM for the N64.

Final Fantasy- The best FF game is FF9 for the PS1.

Mortal Kombat- The best MK game is MK9 for the PS3.

@Roweanos212 It was so amazing seeing so many colors on screen at once, and having more complex controls... All of those games (which fall into the "Best sequel was on the SNES" -category) took a familiar concept but upped the ante by a million. Super Mario World, A Link To The Past, Super Metroid, Super Castlevania 4, maybe Street Fighter 2 (not a SNES-game per se, an arcade game, but still) all felt familiar but added a ton of new stuff and more varied music & graphics, it was so awesome :)

I love to play this Zelda game on my old SNES but i find myself mostly running in circles trying to find something or get somewhere in the game, eventually it gets boring this way. Whilst walkthroughs provide the information to move on, it feels as if you haven't accomplished anything.

In the end it's as if you really were in- and part of the game.

10 out of 10 well deserved.

This game took me months to beat. My best friend and I used to play the hell out of it every time we chilled but we would never beat more than a couple dungeons at a time and that last one, man just to get through the basement took forever. Worth it for the red mail though.

while iam a HUGE Zelda freak, a link to the past was never really my fav zelda game, my PERSONAL fav would be between (either) oracle of ages/season, windwaker, ocarina of time and twilight princess. dont get me wrong link to the past was AMAZING, but i never understood WHY some fans say its BETTER than ocarina of time AND windwaker.

Thanks Kwing, this was such an informative video. I loved to use the Ether medallion in the dark world dungeons and in Ganon's Tower, along with the Magic Hammer to restore my magic meter. It was also useful when lighting the invisible floorways. The magic cape was so cool too. I especially found it helpful when bypassing annoying hazards and obstacles. But i could go on forever lol :) Thanks again Kwing! your awesome

I know that you had to come up with some bad aspects, but the 500 rupee thing never bugged me. The flippers were something you saved up for (the fire shield, of course, can be obtained from the Waterfall of Wishing). You don't need them immediately anyway, so it's not like you have to grind. The main things I disliked were two bosses: Moldorm (annoying as hell if you're unlucky) and Mothula (the spikes block arrows and rod attacks). All the other bosses were great, though.

A remake would only result in overpriced 3D entertainment nobody remembers a year from the date they purchased the game, which forces the player in a 3D perspective until they sell their system on Craigslist.

They'd need to provide the option to play in either 2D or 3D. I'd vote for a prior (2D) world with a bigger map, more enemies, better / bigger palaces and dungeons, and even crazier bosses, etc...

Don't remove the original formula, just make more use of it but with today's technology.
