  • "Niceeee"! Thankz ,

  • Thanks Ken, I really enjoy your videos..

  • @bowandarrow303 thanks

  • That's great, Ken, but what if your opponent is on fire or covered in broken glass?

  • @goatfury hmm.. up next;)

  • Ken Primo, you are gangsta!

  • @Kubrickswookie im sweet;)

  • How could you say Buiu doesn't represent well his stuff is awsome. Maybe you should demonstrate Fita if you are that accomplished. All these postings are free and help us serious players alot show some respect.

  • @Propagandawar23 thanks, Buiu is great

  • I have been watching your videos for some time now and I must say: your instruction is very simple and flawless. However, I don't like the techniques of the guy with the dreads too much. Keep on posting. I would love to train at your academy one day.

  • @fita202 Buiu is my brother, he gave me much of my knowledge, hes a genius and helpful friend. I can never deny him. But thanks for the compliment regardless.

  • Mad video!

I love transitioning to x-guard from Deep-Half.. so many options. They interlink so well as nowadays x-guard is an extension of my deep half for when an opponent stands or tries to step around..

  • Reall black belts don't tie there belts like that... hahahaha

  • THESE ARE REAL COOL BY I KEPT ASKING MYSELF HOW EFFECTIVE THIS WOULD BE IS SOMEONE IS THROWING PUNCHES AT YOU

  • @Jechjames Well, as long as you use your legs to keep him out of balance, it is very hard for him to punch you, because he needs his arms to post himself so he doesn't fall over. You do need to be very fast if you use this position in mma though, you need to attack him right away the second you get the position and sweep him as soon as possible. It is not a waiting position.

  • @Jechjames when i watch boxing i think about taking the guy down and when i watch mma i think about having a gun in my pocket.

  • @Jechjames Sometimes I ask myself "does writing in all caps help?", and I usually think not.

  • @Jechjames In another video on the x-guard someone discussed how people expressed concern over how in MMA you are likely to get punched in the face from this position. His response was "you might get punched once, but you're about to get a real easy sweep".

  • nice moves but that mat has to hurt your knees

  • the way ken ties his belt bothers me lol

  • @carlsongracie team bothers me too, i suck at it. i learn it, forget it, do it another way, horrible example:) my teachers always bust on me too.

  • @kenprimo dont worry about it man, your jiu jitsu speaks for itself, being one of the only american to win matches at the black belt level at the mundials is a great accomplishment. if you are ever in illinois stop check us out in moline, or bettendorf, or you can go to jeff neals school in naperville (carlson gracie sr's school before he died) Id love to train with you.

  • I didn't know Ben Stiller was a black belt in BJJ. great X-Guard stuff.

  • @xseokx loool

  • @xseokx I think he looks more like Greg Focker's half hispanic, alleged son Jorge in "Meet the Fockers". :-D :-D :-D

  • that rear mount from x-guard is sick! gotta try it.

  • Ken Primo is a pro grappler enough with the critiques.

  • thanks.. so funny people are criticizing the technique as if they were watching a competion...i guess conceptual learning eludes them and they learn better with more thorough explanation

  • i love x gurad there are som many opetunites to sweep good video

  • that is a nice x guard sweep

  • the positions are good, i mean good tecnique but when i see videos with blue belts envolved i usualy don watch them.... jiu jitsu starts when u get your purple belt.... the essence of good tecnique.....

    Antonio

  • @antonioaugustovalera dont agree with you maybe blue belts who make vids on you tube my martial arts instructor is a blue belt about to b purple belt in bjj but hes 3rd degree blk belt in tkd and 5 other styles of martial arts hes a blue belt and his tecnique and every thing he does is very goodhes been doing bjj for about 1 1/2 yrs already a purple belt we are testing this week and we just learned sum of these x quard sweeps and did them much better than this guy and hes a blk belt

  • @Breal43 Bwuahahahahahhaah!

  • @antonioaugustovalera The blue belt is just for the purpose of showing the move, the man doing to instructional is a black belt.... I don't understand the issue!

  • @antonioaugustovalera hypocritical to say the least..your watching the video as you wrote this. The instructor is a black belt what more do you need? On top of that, 4 stripe blue belt = 1 step away from purple, give the guy a break he didnt do anything wrong. When I see someone like you, I dont want to do jiu-jitsu anymore because theres too many of you close minded fucks out there. A black belt is a white belt that never gave up.

  • @GarlandBJJ

Dude, I like that last line. I'm gonna have to steal that one from you and put it on a T shirt.

  • nice belt tying

  • I like feeding his sleeve to my left hand too.

  • another great vid..thanks Ken..I like the second variation you show where the guy gets swept over top of you..that one is pretty slick.

  • Hey Mr. Ken thank you for your hard work and dedication on sharing all this great info! Wish to join your Dojo one day!!! 5 stars!!!!
