  • Do you have a mp3 version?

  • Still my favorite version of this song. I started listening to the other Vocaloids/Utau and I missed the harmonies in this!! <3 <3 <3 The only song that comes close to this are the Utau's "Sekka Yufu" and "Yurika Sayu" in "Dreaming little Bird"

I wish I had someone to sing this with me, lol. Although I'd still need to practice.

By the way, which Vocaloid is on the lower pitch?

  • @Firemoonsoul Both is Miriam. She is the first generation of Vocaloid, predescessor of Miku and others.

  • @sirisobhakya Thanks :)

Miriam has a very pretty voice; she harmonizes well with herself :)

  • NIPA~

  • This is my favorite version of this song :3

  • i love how the voices are low i cant stand high sounds somtimes ._. but i LOVE this!

  • mp3 Please :)

  • so beautifull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i like it...

  • Poor Miriam was the second Vocaloid in existence, as well as being English, so she doesn't sound as good as the others. I'm glad someone gave her a chance with this song. Its a very touching song.

  • dose anyone know who originally created this song

  • Love the pictures at 1:53 and 1:56!~ ^___^

  • where did you get the MIDI?

  • @GangsterLolis

I created it using Finale 2008.

  • It sounds wonderful! *A* Usually, I dislike Miriam's voice, but this pwns! GJ!

  • I did this song with my Miriam and it sucked .w.

She sounds really nice, do you have the midi or the VSQ?

If you do could I possibly ask for it, I've been looking forever for it.

But anway this sounds really nice considering how low-tech Miriam is to the newer vocaloids.

  • @ExplodingPie420

No, I just use original Vocaloid.

Personally, I like the tone of this version of Vocaloid. The new vocaloid is somewhat out of tune at the end of each syllable even without vibrato.

  • @Whippycreme The singer is a First Generation Vocaloid. The first generation could only sing letters instead of words, so... yeah, they have moments where they really suck compared to othger Vocaloids. It's an aquirred taste.

  • @forevergamergirl I understand the concept of vocaloids, this just...is impossible...^^;

  • @Whippycreme

Yeah, I think so too. Personally I want to sing this song on my own but... Male voice singing Dear You - Hope is not very nice in my opinion XD

  • @sirisobhakya It'll sound better than this- all I can say is go for it.

  • @sirisobhakya KAITO SINGS IT JUST PERFECTLY!!!!

  • @sirisobhakya keichii did a version u can at least try rikas xD

  • I love the pics at 0:44 and 1:22 :D

  • miriam sounds awesome!!!!!

  • wow this is very pretty

  • @SimplyNarutosGirl

    Thank you

  • isn't Miriam an english vocaloid?

  • yeah but she sounds really good with this song..

  • wow, this is one of the best i've ever seen Miriam sing. O.O i heard she's really hard to work with and i haven't seen many good vids of miriam, but this is just.... wow.

  • MY NAME D': !!

  • I love it! It's got a nice soothing sound. The voice is so niiiice~

  • you actually made and english vocaloid sound really nice!!!

  • I really like Rika's Dear You -hope- song done by a vocaloid! This took me a while to find, so happy!

  • It's a ritual that all vocaloids sing Dear you

  • @Shinjuko445 It should be a ritual that all characters from umineko and higurashi should sing Dear you

  • I love the dip in her voice she does at 1:17 1:22, and so on.

  • at 1:50 Rika looked a Princess

  • sounds more like an utau

  • Utau? What's that? I know that utau means "to sing" in Japanese..but I don't not what you think it is. Just "uta" alone means "song", though.. Is that what you mean?

  • utau are voice banks that are computerized rather than each sound sang by a real person then joined together by a machine, which is vocaloid. so in utau all the sounds are made by a machine so it sounds robotic. look up kasane teto and yokune ruko, they are popular utau.

  • No, no, UTAU is like a very simplistic Vocaloid with less features, and the ability to import your own voice. The reason MIRIAM sounds like an UTAU is because she's a series 1 Vocaloid, and it takes more work to make her sound delicious.

  • So pretty.... 0:46

  • um duh? the title clearly states the anime and that the song being sung by a vocaloid

  • I know that Rika is not Vocaloid but a character from Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni. And I have already stated in info section that this version of the song is sung by Miriam of Vocaloid (1) program. Thank you.

  • Dear you?

    Oh, I love it! <3 <3 <3

  • WOW! sounds great! :D

  • Miriam is a fan-made Vocaloid, right?

  • No, she's a real Vocaloid.

One of the early ones, actually. :3

  • Ohh, really? I would never have guessed that. o3o Thanks!

  • Yeah, Miriam is an English Vocaloid.

They aren't nearly as well known or popular as the Japanese ones.

Well, they DO have better designs and voices, so it's easy to understand why.

    You're welcome~ n.n

  • Well, her design is kinda cute.

  • do you know where I can get a midi of this song? I'd like to use the tune for my own vocaloid composition and a midi would help me get the tune down

  • I can send you via E-mail. Do you need only melody or chorus and bass ass well? Please don't forget to give me your e-mail, too.

  • @sirisobhakya Could you please send it to me too? ^^

  • in 0:36 hanyu does look like a spawn of satan, <_<

  • screwed up!

  • She sounds like a spawn from satan >.>

Just the way her voice sounds lol!

    It kinda scares me,,,kik ._.;;

  • i agree, spawn of satan lol

  • so now i know what GLaDOS would sound like in japanese

  • LOL

  • No bad, but it would've been better with a Japanese vocaloid LOL.

  • I think any english vocaloid could've sung this better if they had been given the english version to sing. lol

  • hell ya

  • 素晴らしい!

  • Miriam can sing in Japanese?

  • Probably but he can't roll his R's in Japanese. So they sound english still. XD To me this is actually good though. o.o

  • But inst Miriam a girl?

  • Comment removed

  • oh my god! that's actually way beautiful!

  • It sounds like Len XD

  • ive never heard of the vocaloid miriam before is it a fan made one? anyway i like the voice ^^

  • Nope. She's real.

She came out after Leon and Lola, but before Meiko.

  • lol never heard of lola or leon either guess ill go look em up x3

  • They're OLD. xD

    Four years old, actually. xD

  • They're supposedly the english ones. Leon, Lola, and Miriam.

Japanese are Miku, Rin&Len, Gakupo(?), Meiko, Kaito, and others. Go figure, the japanese Vocaloid's have animation characters to match the voices, so they're STILL popular. :P

  • Yeah, But, they aren't japanese VOCALOIDS like M E I K O and K A I T O are. Leon, Lola and Miriam are the English singing vocaloids for VOCALOID like Sweet Ann, Prima and... I forget the male voice for VOCALOID2. But yeah. She's real. and don't mind how late this comment it ._.;;;

  • Big Al's the male voice you forgot. .-.

  • it sounds so soothing.... ^-^

  • You could also make a version for Utsusemi no Kage (rozen maiden again) or Yoake umarekuru shoujo,Joint and hishoku no sora (shakugan no shana) or asterisk, or sakura biyori,daidai,etc.. (there are a lot of op and ed from bleach), ef-a tale of memories has a great sondtrack.... I love yor versions, i think you have a notion of music (or maybe a musician) so you can make music sheets (or you get them from internet??) Please make more versions!!! -not vocaloid hahaha

  • (( RM TRAUMND lol not Again LOL))

  • I LOVE utsusemi no kage!

  • Let me guess, Miriam has yet gotten her Vocaloid2 update....

  • I like it!
