wow I guess my journal is a junk journal:) I have scarpbook paper glued in it and cards and other stuff in it.

Thank you....looks like a lot of fun. My question is why after you crinkle the page, you ink it, and then glue scrapbook paper on top of the inked page. Why waste the ink when it's going to be covered up?

@aghi42 good point... so maybe I'll wrinkle, add paper THEN ink ;) TFS... LOVE this journal idea and it's fantastic to see how fat it gets. I can imagine how fun it is to go back through and now I know what to do with all my tons of keepsakes! :D Super!!

Hola Tangie, I find a hard to call it a junk journal because a lot of tought and work goes into making a junk journal. You have to have an idea of how you want it to look. I have been trying to finish my journal for the pass month and a half, not working out. LoL You did a wonderful job with the tutorials and ideas. Hugs, Titi

GREAT !! Question though ... How do you add an envelope in there , or like yours a little flap withith the book , or a page you want to put in but dont want to adhere , if that makes any sense , so that it whatever you add it can still functionally flip like all the other pages ????  I love the junk journal ' and i can not wait to work on something like this ' i tend to keep so many things such like that !! TYFS

Tangie, it looks great, but I wonder: why do you pre-distress ink the pages then cover them with scrapbook paper? I guess I'm missing something.... :(

Tangi...was wondering if the alphabet dividers are actually used or just for decoration and if you do use them..what do you put in that section??

You can find them at WalMart or any place that sells school supplies, they are just thin notebooks actually called "composition notebooks" so you won't have trouble finding them. I am surprised by how strong the pages are! Just looked at WMart today and they have lots of colorful ones.
