It is forever fascinating to me over the decades how excellent this group was. I just hope that those with tapes of PP&M will cintinue to upload them. My ipod must have 95% of their songs.

God take care of Mary Travers. She is the Angelic voice and soul of our Generation of the 60's, 70's and Vietnam. Appreciate you now more Mary, than I did 40 years ago. Magic.
Oh, do I miss Mary! She could shake her head like no one else, couldn't she? While I love the live version of this song, I prefer the studio version they did. It was terribly powerful with the organ, and the whole thing was slower and more deliberate.

@Winwood39 No kidding! My favorite part of watching PP&M perform live is watching Mary rock out while singing! So much more appealing than anyone rocking out these days.........
I was very blessed to see them 04/17/09 in my hometown & they did this song. INCREDIBLE!!! Mary's voice was still VERY strong just like it was in this concert.
Now we have her voice for the ages. Godspeed Mary - we will miss you :(
I am so happy you got to see them! Last time I saw PPM was about 10 years ago I think. My heart aches knowing one member is missing from my favorite group.
