little info for goldrush 1st point one, you can use the ledge to the near by + despenser to get up there to. That spot up there is easy to get taken out since the fence near the drop down there they can shoot demo bomb's or a soldier can just jump and take ya out easy. Even a spy could find ur teleporter and tele-frag ya and its over. Even from the sniper hose to left a demo can lobb sticky's on the wall and take ur sentry out. Your nest at Goldrush stage 1 would have been extremely easy to destroy, since you were standing on your teleporter, if a spy uses it, he kills you without breaking his disguise and saps your buildings to death before you can respawn. A big downside for that spot.

for the gold rush place i know a way up there without sentry jumping and its vary simple the area behind the platform if you go up and to the right and place a dispencer and crouch jump just right you can get on an invisable legde and jump up to the platform and best part no damage :D

That position on the third stage of gold rush is pretty easy to get from underneath as soldier or demoman.

I like the goldrush first stage setup, but it's prone to telefragging spies even though very few people know that a spy can sap-n-tele an engine and destroy his setup.

Do a video explaining how important the balance of classes are to having a good team and success. So many people only play sniper or spy when the team will need a medic or scout. Everyone "mains" a class, but if your team needs a demo switch to demo. Too many people don't realize the importance of playing the class that your team needs.

I noticed you seemed to cluster your buildings together and -encourage- other Engis to build near you. I'd just like to say that one Demo could easily take out -both- yours and your fellow Engi's buildings with one sticky cluster if they're that clustered together.

Hey, there is also another way to get to the goldrush sentryjump point. You can place your dispenser on the little 'ridge' near (wich is allo a popular sentry spot), and use it to jump to the balcony.

Sorry, I'm just going to clear something up. I was very aware that it's an easy telefrag on the 1st point of goldrush, but considering the circumstances in which this video was done, I chose not to destroy my teleporter, which I normally do.

@AcesGamer There is a far simpler way to get to that 1st point of goldrush you know. Exit spawn, walk up the stairs to your right, go to the far right corner by the large sylender, place a dispencer on the littel wooden nub that is sticking up, grab the metal by the dispencer, hop on your despencer, crouch jump and land on lip of the balcony build as you please... *note, far simpler to do than to explane*

The gold rush spot on top, is VERY deadly when a good spy is coming to kill you. Setting up like that almost guarantees a spy will telefrag you and he doesn't even need to sap it. I think you overlooked that.

On the goldrush sentry jump, you don't need to sentry jump to get up there. You can do it using jumping from the top of a dispenser on the ledge that's slightly behind the platform.

I love that old intro,On the first stage of goldrush you DO NOT need to wrangler rocket jump,and keeping the teleporter is a bad ideea since you will get telefragged.With a dispenser and a nifty jump you can get up there,with another jump you can even get in the Adic or however its writen.Anyway the other spots were greatly presented :)

On that first Goldrush spot, it is possible to get up there without a sentry jump. You need to set up a dispenser on the battlements just to the left of that ledge, stand on top of it and it is possible to jump there, then just set up your tele and your good to go...

Another thing on the first gold rush one - you can get telefragged by a spy going to the spawn, so watch out for that.

@ubertanking Yeah, definitely leave yourself enough room up there to stand while not on the teleporter. In fact, good rule of thumb is never, ever stand on your teleporter exits.
