  • Mike, you play this so well and it's such a pretty piece. Thanks again for the inspiration.

  • Lovely, Mike! Beautiful tone, the right tempo IMO for this piece, just the right grace notes, and overall, wonderful musicality. Outstanding!

  • Beautiful- you're up there with John Williams & Julian Bream! Period Lute works sound great on the classical guitar. "Archguitar Renaissance" by Peter Blanchett is a great recording worth a listen.

  • great job man. I have to learn the same piece during summer for class... this video helped with the rhythm... thank you so much. Although we aren't required to use a capo

  • excelent its in my playlist already

  • beautiful.

  • Thanks for listening, regards mike.

  • hi Mike - gorgeous music, you've got talent.

  • Thanks newminkey ,glad you like the playing ,regards Mike.

  • Watched your videos, brilliant guitar playing. Do you teach folk fingerstyle, blue or any other types of acoustic guitar. I live near the Deerplay pub in Weir and I am trying to locate a local fingerstyle guitar tutor. If you don't teach yourself, do you know of anybody who does?

    Cheers

    Shane

  • Hi Shane , I do teach guitar but only the style that you see me playing on my vidios.I also teach people how to read guitar music. If your interested in having a chat in more detail send me a message on my account, mike.

  • awesome

  • Beautiful!

I'd like to hear more lute songs. Can you recommend a link or a cd??

  • Try putting the name John Dowland in to a search engine .John Dowland (1563-1626) was a famous lute player and composer from elizabethan england.

  • my mum knows your bro! she used to mess about with him in bacup

  • That was very beautiful, though i have lessons with one of the greatest Portuguese Guitarists, on one of the most complete Musical Style (in terms of acoustic guitar) called Fado. It's Typical Portuguese and it has 2 kinds of guitars... I play the regular Like yours. I can Say it IS indeed very well played and it is hard to get there, but i think i am getting there, so Nice Video! ;)

  • Thanks hellprince1,Fado sounds interesting I will search for the style on the internet and have a listen, thanks again and keep on playing.
