I don't know much about hardware...so I'm wondering. What do standard home camcorders record in? How much do cameras that record at high FPS cost? Are there settings that will change cheaper cameras FPS? Anything helps! Thanks
Usually camcorder are 25 or 30 fps. The increase of framerate is really recent (18 months), before it was really hard and expensive to find fast cam. Now there's things like LG Viewty phone, and a Panasonic camera that can do 200 fps for not so much money.

Ya, I think every time I import it's at 29ish.
When you shoot at a high frame rate...do you use a different tape?
And how much money exactly would one of these new cameras cost now days?
