Skyline had a better music score going through the movie, Music makes a movie, the programed music in skyline was like being on a rollercoaster ride. Battle LA the music score was flat, it did not connect with the movie. So, the best out of the two for a rollercoaster ride of a movie is.... SKYLINE.

Hmm well I personally have no opinion on the movie, but someone obviously didn't watch the whole review before writing a comment. Go to 8:03 and hear how GeekNews summarizes the movie. They clearly say that it's a bad movie(outside of special effects)Anyone who gives a thumbs up for the like bar agreed that it was bad, not that they liked it lol

Despite how realistic you think it is, it was still dumb and ultimately didn't make sense. Aliens being so powerful that we lose is not a new idea. But the movie left me with the idea that the filmmakers have no idea what we are capable of.

The mindset of this review is goofy.... the idea behind the movie is to queue into the lives of average people during an alien invasion.....oh... all of the film portions of this review are blacked out with only the audio... I would say that this review is the worst review video that I've seen...but the movie, Skyline, it is a must see. It is an awesome movie and the Strauss Brothers did a great job with it! Good job on this movie! On the review.. I think you people need some serious work.

I was very torn about the film and the ending. Kinda depressed really. But as I think back on it, the movie effects and imagery made it good. I would even see a sequel. RT gives it poor critic reviews but favorable fan reviews. I can't watch the video to "Like a G6" by FAR EAST MOVEMENT without thinking about the blue light sucking them out of the club or street. So I kinda agree. It needed a better story and more likable characters.

Now, now - no need to be mean. + isn't Strauss their real name?. But otherwise, I agree with your assessment: just saw your full review version & have to say: I was disappointed too. It was really bad. The actors were good (still liking that Eric Balfour!), they just had nothing to work with. & the ending: that they are mainly a SFX company makes sense. Storytelling + character study is everything, no matter the budget. Maybe their next project (?) will reflect this understanding.

The only disappointment is that the Brothers Strauss have probably jeopardized the box office for "Battle of Los Angeles" by both stealing their idea, making it shit and then bringing it out before hand to beat the "Battle of LA" release.
