if you have a 1024x600 res and you want a higher res check out my channel. I have one vid that could help you. I can set my netbook stock res form 1024x600 to 1024x768 ot 1152x864. Granted its not 1366x768 but it better than the standard res.
@pownedbyeass 1 year ago? FUCK!!! I'll respond anyway by saying: if you were smart enough, you would have realized that was Japanese. THAT would have been funny, and you wouldn't have looked like a moron. Anyway, since it was a year ago, I'll assume that you've died of a crack overdose and I'll post this for the benefit of the 2 people that will see this in the next decade. Thank you.
I wanna use its display and hook it up to a asus ee pc1015N that has a lower resolution 10.1" (1024 x 600) . Would you think it's possible to do this without much hassle if it has the same connector? Anyone tried something similar?
my msi wind U123-002US has the n280 chip, 10.2" display, 6 cell battery, 1.3mp camera and has a matte display....and it was only $300 shipped...the only difference i can see is that this asus has a slightly higher resolution...this is not new and exciting..they should be figuring out how to add more ram and HD space without adding cost or dogging down the battery...displays should be their last priority.
Great review as always Peter. You did a good job of comparing the pros and cons of the high res and the low res screen on 10.1 netbooks and the 11.6 HP.

Why the new asus 1005PE with 10.1" screen won't have this marvelous 1366x768 resolution! I want even one god damn clever reason =s

I would really like to have this resolution on my 1000H. Seen it on a Dell Mini something.

on a 10.1 inch screen I'd still rather have a lower resolution though.
It's all personal preference, but I don't mind 1024x600.

not a fan of the asus or acer...
but excellent video!

Umm, slightly higher resolution? Its 40% more space than the standard 1024x600.
And yea..displays are the last priority...the thing you stare at the entire time you use a netbook is worthless.
And for people that say 'text is too small', you can increase the font size then >_>. You can't magically add detail to a low resolution screen.

i got a 1101ha eee pc.. it has 1366x760 on its 11,6" screen...
the screen is already too small for that much of resolution... on this 10,1" i cant even imagine how to read stuff with all of this res....
