ohh thankyou, ive never seen a foal born, counted the times theve been coverd n all that ,but the only one i said sod it ime going to be late for school ,i made a cup of tea and the foal was up and drinking by the time i came back ,
i think seeing humans help with the birth is just interference... i think its wrong... its like how humans who give birth now get to have a fucking audience. its unnatural.
@BaileyFlys what if something happened during the birth and the person wasn't their? They are they too help if something was too happen too the mother or the baby.
my mare lost her foal giving birth as the head came first, and we couldn't get it out in time as we weren't there in time, she is also coloured and it was a beautiful coloured filly, you are so lucky and i bet it was great for you to see it
I helped my friend foal her lipizanner mare and man it was a difficult labour. The mares first so she was having a hard time pushing not to mention kierion (the foal) was in the wrong position.
That was amazing! Congrats on the beautiful foal! I was watching with anticipation going: "Come on you can do it! You're doing so well!" LOL - nice work, and I hope he/she grows up to be big and strong! CONGRATULATIONS!
i have a foal due in a month i think thats if she is pregnant. but omg im soo scared you guys handled that very well. but un like britty im just scared she has never foaled but she is small so im not worried about the foal being to big. hang in there britty and good luck. and lovly little foal!
my horse had her baby in november, she did just fine. i have a video of her and her mom up. the filly is all legs. she is getting BIG. i didnt get to see her give birth but i was still excited.
It's incredible how the foal comes out so that there's as little chance of injury as possible. They're like little folding lawn chairs! The miracle of life...
wow! that poor mare!! She was using soo much effort for half of the video just to get the foal's shoulders out! At least the man was smart and cleared the foal's nostrils so it could breathe.
My lord! The fowl was bigger than the mama, lol, she was struggling the whole time. The video was great (five stars and a favorite from me) but the poor mama horse's struggle made me wanna reach in the screen and help her.
They aren't in a vet's office, you dumbbutt! Hardly anyone wears gloves when helping the mare, because the foals hardly ever contract a disease! How much do you even know about horses, anyway?!
PMUmother, you are being very ignorant. If you took the time to go to the website for their farm (which they posted under the clip description), you would clearly see that these are responsible breeders that care for their horses. In response to your name, I know about PMU mares and realize that this is a horrible practice, but these are not PMU horses and you need to realize that this is not the fate of all horses.
Birth is a beautiful thing only if you don't actually see it. That was interesting though. It seemed a little sci-fi to me too. I'm a city boy if you can't tell.
I knocked her up.

they roll on their sides and stomach because they think that it'll relieve the pain a bit, it also pushes out the foal more.
