I was there - it wasnt that great a night - u couldnt move it was so packed, park was playing loads of his own remixes and boring vocal garage, thankfully pickering was there to pump it up a bit - even if his mixing was all over the place.

The Hacienda post 89 wasn't that great. Mainly full of posers, tourists & those lucky (or unlucky) enough to get past the psycho doormen. Konspiracy & Thunderdome (Oldham Road) were more cutting edge musically than the Fac51. Personally, I preferred the Boardwalk & the Venue (best club on Withworth St West!) Then again, what do I know?????

The Hacienda was legendary right throughout the world during it's peak of 88, 89 into 90. It's almost impossible to describe the influence this place had on the entire dance scene and also the city of Manchester.
