Also, the reason for Best's celebration vs go.go was due to the proleague last year. go.go built a CC next to Best's nat Nexus to mock Best, defeated him and essentially called Best a noob in the post game interview.

The thumbs down Best did was a gesture of vengeance and you could see he hesitated after having done it, almost looking annoyed at himself.

Either way, it seems justified.

Fantastic back-and-forth battle. That's why I love Troy as a map -- it seems to often lead to different tactics and interesting games. I loved Nada's go-to-ground guerilla tactics. Would've loved it even more if the tactics would have saved him, but that's OK.

err... he had that starport but never got a wraith... that might have made a big difference as he could kill off the early shuttles that just floated around unharassed, and slowly picked off those reavers instead of letting them live throughout the match...

Noob question: why didn't nada build vultures to counter shuttles? Are they too slow to catch up? It seems like shuttles won the game for Best, because they provided great mobility for his troops. If he could neutralize the shuttles, i think Nada could have won the game.

Also, another great tactic i saw in other games is putting mines in own base, so when troops are dropped in, they die. Again, that might have saved Nada.

Still, Best showed the great potential of shuttles!

Deep Six is not about ghosts, its about tank marine. Its FE followed by few additional rax. This is usually a one time push, because when toss expects it or its in play for some time, marinemed gets countered well by speedlot and storm. Talking about ghosts and mass lockdown is just dumb - its too hard to pull off, even vs slowass battlecruisers in long TvTs.

Name Deep Six comes from "burrow six feet under" (the ground), not from barrack count.

About the comment about Best early on. Go.go humiliated Best by making a CC next to one of his Nexuses during a Proleague game last year.

go.go is known to be a bad mannered player. Best just returned the favour.

terran strategy against protoss. you use the ghost lockdown ability to freeze all goons, carriers, arbiters, shuttles, reavers...you get the point, and then simply kill the frozen units with whatever you have. as diggity did say, it is micro-macro intensive, but usually pays off
