Utah beat Alabama in the 2008 season and I along with everyone else gives them credit for it. Alabama wins the National Title in the 2009 season and no one wants to give them credit for it.

They DO give National Titles for football. You and many others just call it a "mythical" national title. Either way, it's a national title. So basically nothing in college football counts if we look at it from your point of view.

Most college football fans want a playoff to have a true champion. Call yourself the true champion of 2010 when there was another undefeated team(Boise State). I think it was only last year when one of these small teams stomped Alabama(Utah). {Alabama=bcs national title, not ncaa national title}

@blairjs By that logic many teams can't claim to be the true champions. In the past there were two sometimes three teams who finished undefeated and only 1 team was awarded the NC Trophy.
No matter how much you cry and complain, it can't take away Alabama's Title.
By your logic the "real" 2004 National Champions is a flawed arguement. So that would make Auburn the BCS (not ncaa) "peoples champion" So basically your Auburn title has less credibility than Alabama's REAL 2009 Title.

All I saying is Auburn 2004 season is just as credible as Alabama 2009 season. There are the only two teams that went undefeated in the 2000s for SEC. All other SEC teams that won a NC title had 1 or 2 loses. Nothing against Alabama season or being thought of NC. It is the system that is messed up, not Alabama undefeated season. Congrats to 14-0!!
