I agree that it doesnt follow the storyline very well and WTF on fighting the eye at the end XD I dont recall seeing three people on the eye's tower when it fell :P But the fact that I had a awesome time playing it made me not really mind the fact that it doesnt make sense haha after all it's only a game.

I played this game and finished it. It was actully a fairly good game ! It could have been a great game if they would of opened the game up more and added more spells and magic attack sand more weapons and armour etc. oh and this game does not rip anything off ! ? its loosly based on the lotr trilogy by the makers of the movies .

It rips off the LotR films so blatantly in both dialogue and situations. It's that cheesy, it's not even funny.

The final boss is "The Eye" of Sauron, for crying out loud. The game makes absolute zero sense, and does not tie in with Tolkien's lore at all.

This game was pretty tough at times. It felt even harder for me at first, though, because I missed some key things that would've helped immensely. Like, I didn't know you could switch characters mid-battle with L1... And I didn't know that when you save, everyone gets a complete fixer-upper! THAT really sucked, trying to play through without knowing you could heal so easily.

I own the PS2 version. I'm forced to play that version because the GameCube version is inferior and Microsoft FUCKING SUCKS AT ASS BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY for the Xbox 360 (I don't like the constantly blinking, glowing screen. Really.). Anyways, I am at East Moria Khazad-dum Stairs. I have saved at a point right outside a doorway that leads to some stairs. I go through the doorway, onto the stairs, and at a certain spot on the stairs, THE GAME FUCKING FREEZES!!!

it may only be compatible with older models sinec the architecture is different (it could also be like games such as burnout 3 and use the PS2's playstation 1 processors for additional loading and effects)

I have a PS3 60 GB model. It screwed up on that. I also tried it on a slim PS2 and used a transfer pack to move the save data. Same result. I got rid of the game a while back because I wanted to wash my hands of it. If only Microsoft will get up off of their lazy asses and make the rest of the XBox library fully compatible (minus glowing screen in time with the treasure chests) without ANY issues with the 360. Come November, I'm not holding my breath for that.
