Socialized medicine is disguised as a humanitarian effort but it's just a power grab and has nothing to do with helping the American people.
The Obaaama sheeple on the left think that bigger government is the only answer but it's just getting us deeper into trouble and nowhere closer to the utopia they're searching for.
This is just one more step towards socialism and we have one of the most corrupt congresses ever.

I dealt with the Veteran's Administration (VA) when I got out of the army and trust me, you DO NOT want the government playing a major role in your health care. Look at all of the existing government programs (most are wasteful, in debt, and/or failing). What will make this one an exception to the rule? Let the free market do its thing and work hard to earn your own way.

@dmharvey79 I'm sure you're not a democrat and I'm sure you didn't vote for Obama. Agenda, agenda, agenda. The Obama admin. is working to make VA better. Same with Medicare/healthcare. Too many naysayers with nothing better to do. Who isn't working hard to earn their way? What kind of comment is that? Explain how the free market will "do it's thing." That's kind of how we got in this mess. Take a look at the root of the financial meltdown w/an un-biased view. You might learn something.

as senator obama was in charge of VA while there that in 07 08 years it had most paid awol hours in history of congress,meaning paying PPL in the VA DEPT that were not THERE next highest dept was TREAS. wonder why we had Fannie Freddie house banking meltdown,democrats in charge? clinton even blamed democrats, sec clinton Budget goes up 33% hush money? banks not that stupid to cause melt down,bank bailout was "accept the blame hush money"
