  • What a bunch of horse shit. American culture IS consumer culture. Comedians riff on culture. Do the math.

George Carlin mentioned WalMart in his later bits. Was he a corporate shill? I think I'm done.

  • There are times where there does seem to be a shameless plug and there likely is some kind of gift giving involved. seems to me he likes to say stuff like that on the show then publicly give the companies a good time for not thanking him appropriately form time to time.

Many of your clips are too short and too edited. It would he hard to have a conversation about peoples lives without mentioning stores, and using generic terms all the time is annoying too.

  • rofl! "Why the Ford logo here?" Nothing to do with Letterman. -.-

  • This is the most pointless video I've ever seen. So if you mention the name of a store or restaurant, or any brand name for that matter, you're a corporate shill? He's a COMEDIAN. Every comedian references brand names in their acts, BECAUSE IT'S A NORMAL THING TO DO. That's how a comedian gets laughs, by talking about things people are familiar with.

"Why the Ford logo here"...are you out of your damn mind?

And by the way hansxxxx666 (nice), Letterman has mentioned Twitter maybe twice.

  • lame

  • That was great.

If you count the "Twitter"s out of Lettermans mouth you can fill another 2 minutes of video.
