@CBALLEN The prophet didnt commit awful sins, he was a man he made mistakes but he was not an awful sinner. Many of the hadiths are fabricated lies made by the enemies of Islam and passed down by word of mouth as absolute truth, there are inconsistencies in the hadith and many of them contradict whats in the Quran. The Quran is the word of God and in the Quran it says that all the prophets are equal and its not for us to judge which prophet was mightier or greater, that is God's role not ours.

Show me, and you do realise that the Muslims believe in the holy bible sent down by God through the messenger Jesus the Messiah,however, the ever changing bible we have today isnt the same bible that Jesus was sent down with. @BrasilaParis That's like asking, why doesn't God just make everyone a believer. God allows things to run their course, and left the protection and preservation of the Torah and the Bible to the people. After the people constantly changed their books and killed their prophets. God sent down the final book the Quran and vowed to protect it himself. God commanded the Muslims to memorize the Quran, word for word, letter by letter removing the possibility of any editing by the higher ups.

@Justoneofthebrothers Well not really, I think you missed a crucial point here : Allah sent his Word through those books : the torah, Suhuf-i-Ibrahim, the Zabur and the Quran.

They were equally sacred and holy because they are the WORD of Allah, so you have to be clear about it : By definition nobody can change or alter the Word of Allah and that's what is confirmed in the Quran.

And it would only be possible to corrupt a book if there were only one copy but that 's not the case
