My Bigfoot story

I've never believed in bigfoot before, until I saw one with my own eyes. So, my dogs were barking outside like crazy (2 german shepards) and i'm like "Probably a possum"... it was about 2:00 AM. I got annoyed of the barking. So I grabbed a flashlight and went outside in a robe and slippers. And, I know it sounds crazy, but since our backyard has pine trees and leaves everywhere... I hear "SNAP SNAP SNAP" of branches and crunches of leaves. I saw a 9 foot creature. Hairy and GIANT. Bigfoot.

hey, i saw what was either an alien or demon in my grandmas house when i was a kid.. 10 feet away , clear as day.. i know theres really strange stuff in the world, that most people assume is fantasy.. with all these people with bigfoot stories, id say its more likely than not that they are actually seeing real bigfoots.. i sure dont need a group of scientists varifying the world for me.. i know its much different than they all think

Damn! That's an incredible experience. Especially for a young kid. In hind sight, it was good that you made some noise with the beer bottles. You may have stumbled upon something more if you just kept playing in the creek without so much disturbance. Thanks for posting your story!

have you ever been wondering if something was waching you and you just stoped and you hear foot stepes when your walking then you stop and you hear that it foot takes one more step and it aint yours or if your walking and u feel somthin beath on you at 3:00 am in mornin i was walkin in woods and i was not beliving in that stuff the breath came 1st then the walkin secent u would of shat your pants

Great story man. I know the feeling of when everyhing goes dead silent and you just...dont feel right. Me and my friend felt it once when i was 14 or 15. (im 19 now) we were cutting down trees to make a little temp shelter and things just got eerie. It was really strange because we both stopped at almost the same time and just looked at each other..and just took off 5 mins later. The next day the chain lock on my buddys shed was busted and stuff was knocked over in it..it was unexplainable.

P.S. He kept it to himself for nearly 40 years, until he eventually told me, which was strange, considering the fact that he had 2 grown boys, and had had 3 wives before me. However, he was convinced that if he had told any, they would have thought him nuts and laughed him to scorn. Oddly, I believe he is currently living just outside of Cave Jct. Oregon...staying in "our" camper and panning for gold on the claim I bought for us. Perhaps he'll meet up with that Sasquatch again, lol! :0)

They DO follow the creeks and rivers. There have been sightings here in Kansas of them walking down the middle of the creeks, etc. My ex had an experience similar to yours when he was fishing one night. He smelled it first, and then he heard the splashing sounds it made as it was walking in the shallow water...and then, he saw its silhouette in the moonlight...and he froze! He said it was at least seven feet tall. He waited until it rounded the bend, and then he booked it back to town!

Can't think of too much to ask. I assume no smell was noticed or you would've mentioned it. Did you mention what state (& county) this took place in? Looking back, do you think it was not malevolent, but only curious?

Thats amazing! I've only had one encounter. I was at my grandparents up in Tijeras New Mexico, a very rural area. I was curious and started woodknocking not really expecting much. A few seconds later i got a response and the big great pyranese dogs i had with me were looking down the hill and barking like crazy. Then i heard a growl that wasnt my dogs. i was too scared to look so i just ran and didnt tell my grampa what happened, he'd never believe me.

Wow thats a pretty neat story. I was in the woods tonight, all by myself, with no weapons..I thought Id be scared but I wasnt, I was ready to see a bigfoot..but I didnt see anything. With more luck Ill see one, and capture it on film! Nice work telling us your story, and people got to get serious about this, we can find one and get some solid proof of it, if we just get passed our fear. From the stories Ive read, bigfoot doesnt appear to be hostile, unless it feels threatened.

i heard some yelling or some kind of a scream foot step like it was running while moose hunting with a friend trees were shaking branches breaking and it was pretty loud it was about 400 yards away in the bushes man that was crazy we were freaking out we ran to our boat and waited for that yelling but nothing so we took off home to tell people next day we went back with people and saw trees down but no tracks or foot prints we never went back to that spot again that yelling i can still hear it

Yes, I was! Really, really freaked out. And anytime the wildlife in the forest goes totally silent and you're alone, it can be really freaky! 8^)

Everything you said matched what bigfoot is said to do so I think it is a true story was there a place up in the mountains where a bigfoot could of been looking at you go to the river with the bear bottles?

I had completely forgotten about that, thanks for the memory refresh! I never saw anything like that in those woods, but do you remember what what just up the hill about 30 yards from where you were? Indian mounds! I'm not saying it wasn't a Bigfoot, but did you ever consider a Ghost? I played all over in those woods, but I spent a lot less time in that area. Too creepy!
