Ok,from all the SWAT training videos I saw,each time the special team does the things somehow slow.I dont know if this is their real situation speed,or they just dont take the training so serious,but if they do all this with slow speed,or in this case with standing in front of the door and ''knock,knock,knock,this is the police'',half,2/3 or all the SWAT team would be dead by 2 or 3 guys with guns.

OK training exercises are ALWAYS good. If mistakes are made, they are noticed, addressed and corrected. Practice makes perfect. SEALS made many training exercises before they got Bin Laden. Even so, unexpected things wen't wrong. Don' t criticize those that take the time and energy to train. How ready are you, when things go all out of the realm of your expectations?

Who cares how someone holds a riffle, I'm Security Forces in the AF and I'm on TRF. We train with swat guys, do you know how often they qualify and how many live shoot exercises they go threw? I'm sure he can put lead downrange just fine regardless if he's holding the magazine well.
First off he is holding it from the magazine well, not the magazine. Said position is a comfortable way to adjusting holding it when you tire from holding either the for-grip or the heat shield. Also works well for CQB, as well as placing the rifle but further up your shoulder instead of resting in normal position. No need to bash each other folks. ^^
@TeamAirsoftZX Even holding it by the magazine well, my hands are pretty small, and youll still have at least two fingers on the mag, I know I've been taught not to do it because you'll jam your gun, but I do it anyways because it is a more comfortable firing position.

Holding it like that when firing will destabalise the magazine, causing stoppages and double feeds...not great when you're in a CQB posture, nevermind anything else. You could even yank the mag out completely if your weapon clips a wall and your hand doesnt follow, entirely possible in close confines of a building.

@MrHaxman123 The foregrip is used to handle recoil, allowing for more accurate successive shots to place on target at longer ranges. Obviously in CQB long range shots are rarely required (if ever) and holding the M4 by the mag allows for faster reloads (I've ever tested this theory). Although it took me ages to find this out and it really annoyed me aswell that sometimes people didn't use the foregrip till I found out.

@MrHaxman123 Although you might think he should use the foregrip, you have to remember a few things. One is that he's in close quarters, so it might just be easier and more effective that way. Also, it might just be because it's more comfortable. I've used a full metal airsoft m16 with a foregrip, and I did find that holding it just above the magazine was at times was more comfortable than the foregrip. Just my 2 cents though.
@navysealboy62 I find it uncomfortable to hold weapons that way when in close quarters,or any range for that matter.It usuallly makes me end up smacking something with the weapon's handguard.Oh and by the way,even though AirSoft weapons have similar systems to real firearms,the actual pattern of the bullets (and not to mention recoil) is very different.I've fired an M16A3 with a foregrip and if i held it by the magazine the bullets would go apeshit and the recoil made the gun hit my face hard.

@nelluc44 To secure the magazine you can just slam it in harder,though the only time the magazine has slipped for me is with AK type weapons (AK-47,AK-74,AK-74u,AKM etc.).

@MrHaxman123 Have you ever done any CQB clearing? Grabing any gun by the mag produces a tighter, more body-compact grip on the gun, making it easier to aim without shaking the gun to where its hard to aim.
@DesertRat22225 I HAVE done CQB tests before, and i found holding it by the magazine very uncomfortable.Oh, and it CERTAINLY doesn't make it easier to aim at all. With most weapons, (except bullpups,ovbiously) the weight of the upper portion of the gun would outbalance your aim. The only weapon in wich i ever found holding it by the magzine to be comfortable was an MP5-K (with the 15 round mag,the 30 round makes it unbalanced).
@MrHaxman123 Each person holds their weapon differently. Sometimes the foregrip is ignored in order to have a tighter grip on the weapon. Speaking from personal experience, I dislike the foregrip and therefore do exactly what that guy did. Normally I would just take the foregrip off, so I don't know why that guy even had his still connected. My only answer to that is that it must not be his actual assigned weapon.

Ok,from all the SWAT training videos I saw,each time the special team does the things somehow slow.I dont know if this is their real situation speed,or they just dont take the training so serious,but if they do all this with slow speed,or in this case with standing in front of the door and ''knock,knock,knock,this is the police'',half,2/3 or all the SWAT team would be dead by 2 or 3 guys with guns.

All this chat about where to hold your rifle lol... I do it because its more comfortable, but You shouldn't hold the gun by the magazine because it'll be more prone to jam. Air Force preaches it.. If you really want to put your hand there just move the foregrip closer in.

OK training exercises are ALWAYS good. If mistakes are made, they are noticed, addressed and corrected. Practice makes perfect. SEALS made many training exercises before they got Bin Laden. Even so, unexpected things wen't wrong. Don' t criticize those that take the time and energy to train. How ready are you, when things go all out of the realm of your expectations?

Who cares how someone holds a riffle, I'm Security Forces in the AF and I'm on TRF. We train with swat guys, do you know how often they qualify and how many live shoot exercises they go threw? I'm sure he can put lead downrange just fine regardless if he's holding the magazine well.

First off he is holding it from the magazine well, not the magazine. Said position is a comfortable way to adjusting holding it when you tire from holding either the for-grip or the heat shield. Also works well for CQB, as well as placing the rifle but further up your shoulder instead of resting in normal position. No need to bash each other folks. ^^

More relaxing, comfortable and or controllable to hold the weapon by the magazine over long periods?
Get some discipline you lids.
Holding it like that when firing will destabalise the magazine, causing stoppages and double feeds...not great when you're in a CQB posture, nevermind anything else. You could even yank the mag out completely if your weapon clips a wall and your hand doesnt follow, entirely possible in close confines of a building.
It is NOT how disciplined forces hold weapons.

@MrHaxman123 The foregrip is used to handle recoil, allowing for more accurate successive shots to place on target at longer ranges. Obviously in CQB long range shots are rarely required (if ever) and holding the M4 by the mag allows for faster reloads (I've ever tested this theory). Although it took me ages to find this out and it really annoyed me aswell that sometimes people didn't use the foregrip till I found out.

@MrHaxman123 Although you might think he should use the foregrip, you have to remember a few things. One is that he's in close quarters, so it might just be easier and more effective that way. Also, it might just be because it's more comfortable. I've used a full metal airsoft m16 with a foregrip, and I did find that holding it just above the magazine was at times was more comfortable than the foregrip. Just my 2 cents though.

@navysealboy62 I find it uncomfortable to hold weapons that way when in close quarters,or any range for that matter.It usuallly makes me end up smacking something with the weapon's handguard.Oh and by the way,even though AirSoft weapons have similar systems to real firearms,the actual pattern of the bullets (and not to mention recoil) is very different.I've fired an M16A3 with a foregrip and if i held it by the magazine the bullets would go apeshit and the recoil made the gun hit my face hard.

@DesertRat22225 I HAVE done CQB tests before, and i found holding it by the magazine very uncomfortable.Oh, and it CERTAINLY doesn't make it easier to aim at all. With most weapons, (except bullpups,ovbiously) the weight of the upper portion of the gun would outbalance your aim. The only weapon in wich i ever found holding it by the magzine to be comfortable was an MP5-K (with the 15 round mag,the 30 round makes it unbalanced).

@MrHaxman123 Each person holds their weapon differently. Sometimes the foregrip is ignored in order to have a tighter grip on the weapon. Speaking from personal experience, I dislike the foregrip and therefore do exactly what that guy did. Normally I would just take the foregrip off, so I don't know why that guy even had his still connected. My only answer to that is that it must not be his actual assigned weapon.
