Station wagons existed long before 1927 -- e.g., the depot hack body for the Ford Model T dates from 1911-14 or so. Man, those years on the farm sure sucker-punched that old Chrysler. It was partially stripped prior to storage -- note the missing sidemount(s). Something in that barn ate the canvas roof, at least one running board, and the steering wheel. Lots of little body dings, too, and an old front-end collision(s). The history must be well-documented, or it's just a conversion to most folks
