Actually, Lawyers are part of the problem. It may be an over simplification on my part, but;

1-Enemy combatants captured without a uniform, are by definition terrorists, and, or spies.

2-Our Rights should NOT be granted to these people, and therefore their fate should be totally at our discretion.

When some of our politicians worry more about the terrorists Rights than their own people, those politicians SHOULD be worried about being REMOVED from office...
