@haribharadwaj1 coz one of da member spent some time in karnataka and it was his experiences there that provided the inspiration for the band name - KARNATAKA.
This so painful and beautiful. Perhaps it's the video and music together... I am a man with a real poker face, but if nobody else is watching, I just may start crying.
Karnataka are still playing great music they have a fantastic new singer called Lisa Fury they are on a short UK tour in October the new material is Fantastic! Do a google search for their website...The old singer rachael is now in a band called the reasoning quite a different sound altogether they do play a couple of Karnataka tracks in the set though.
Karnataka does not exist in the form as we all remember it. Rachel Jones (the lead Karnataka vocalist) is now in the band named The Reasoning, and AFIK Ian Jones is the only member of the original group who still remains in Karnataka.
That just gave me chills! I was disappointed to find only one Karnataka video posted, but wow. Brilliant combination. If only Rachel were still with them, but that's water over the dam. IMHO "The Storm" was by far their best album.
As far as the aspect ratio is concerned, the video is widescreen, and YouTube squeezes everything into 4:3.
I have to rent the movie now. The HQ version of this vid is going into my collection. Thanks Metalstorm!
Great video, I'm a Karnataka fan from Uruguay, South america, I love all their albums but specially Delicate Flame of Desire which is their best in my opinion. Again, great video, but there seem to be some aspect ratio problem, as if the image was streched, probably some movie parts were with black bands for wide screen. Of course I haven't downloaded the high quality version yet. This version however, deserves 5 stars! :D Hopefully you do more of these videos for more songs.
Good job matching the music to the video. Did you splice the song as well? The second verse is missing from the original 10 minute song. If you did, then a good job on that as well. If I also wasnt a fan of Karnataka I wouldnt have picked up the missing part.
Yes, I edited the song as well - the second verse and half of the guitar solo. I totally hated doing it, but 8 minutes would've been way too long for this video. I really hope you watched the high quality version from my site (http://www.metalstorm.ee/ivan/pages/video.php) and not the crappy YouTube version :)
Cant believe 7 people dont like this.It is awesome.Great job.

Don't ya think that, given the heavy subject matter, she should've at least washed her hair?

I have only just dicovered this band.
Truly, has the singer split with the band?
If so, how sad.
What a gorgeous sound they've produced.

Just got to find out about this band. They are playing at 'The Flowerpot' in Derby on Sat. Feb 24th and seem a great bargain for a tenner.
